Douglas Liepert's Online Review Report Card

This guy is a hack I went to see him back in 2016-2017 for a tonsil stone issue! First thing he did when he walked in was look up my nose and ask if I had issues sleeping! Told him tonsils are the issue here, then went from the sleep to some dumb book for acid reflux. Again looking for tonsil relief here not a Gerd issue which I have taken care of. After those two non issues were thrown at me, the sleep study was pushed and pushed for by him! He said without it he couldn’t even begin to code insurance for tonsil removal as “removal is not a thing anymore!!” So I took the bait and did the sleep study and sure enough I had sleep apnea! Shocker I know!! By the way tonsils were never mentioned again at any point. In case you are wondering yes I still have issues with tonsils 7 yrs later!! I see he has started a office under a different name, I wouldn’t take anyone to see this guy nor recommend him to anyone!! Total con artist, how he is still allowed to practice is beyond me!

Outstanding service provided by Dr. Liepert’s staff including his NP, Adam, and himself. They were all very patient despite my family’s language barrier and Dr. Liepert gave fantastic patient education that was above and beyond. Very professional. Thank you all!

Dr Liepert and his staff were very timely and had a great way of explaining what I was about to go through with my sinus surgery. Many doctors told me Dr Liepert was the best around and they were right. My situation ended up being more complex once in surgery and he handled it exceptionally well. Fixed my issues and he himself followed up with me the next day via video. Most doctors have a staff member or nurse follow up the day after with a phone call, not him. That meant so much to me and I really was appreciative. Made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient but a person. I still have in person follow up appointments but he’s very prompt and to the point. I’m so thankful for this man! Thank you Dr Liepert and staff!

Dr Liepert was extremely knowledgeable and was able to explain a rarely seen condition and offer possible solutions. He gave me hope

Dr Liepert does not give me the impression that he wants to do the best thing for patients. It is just testing and more testing and unnecessarily, with no positive outcome. I took my son to him for over 3 years, and every appointment we were made to feel like he had other more important things to do, and he has no problem making patients wait 60 minutes after the appointment time more to see him. Even with that habit, I watched the check-in staff turn someone away for not arriving 15 minutes early for their appointment time. Dr. Liepert seemed very arrogant and unwilling to think about the expense of multiple tests when they could be prioritized, and inconsiderate of patients being away from school and work for an extra hour for his sake.

This Doctor is about the only ENT around who understands how breathing affects how a child’s face and jaws grow. He is very conservative, but also realizes how important it is for a child to be able to use his/her nose. He also works with other professional and treats the body as one piece. He treated my son & we are pleased with the results.

I went in for an ear problem, but the office made me fill in a survey about my sleeping habits. I told them I was not there for sleep issues, but they told me it was standard. He came in, started measuring my neck, telling me that my hearing loss was due to sleep apnea, and that I needed surgery for a deviated septum. He kept pushing me to sign up for their (surely quite profitable) sleep clinic. He was leaving and I had to ask him to please listen to my symptoms. He again told me I needed to see the sleep clinic. I went to another ENT, who found the problem and did not recommend surgery. HE DID NOT LISTEN AND RECOMMENDED UNNECESSARY SURGERY! Avoid this UNCONSCIONABLY DISHONEST doctor!!!

Great Doctor

Things just didn't add up. The things that he was suggesting that were wrong with me just didn't make any sense. It seems hard to believe that the surgery he suggested was going to make any difference to miy sleep apnea. I will never go back to see him again.

I have been this man's patient for more than a year and have yet to actually be treated for my sleep apnea. My patience is at an end. I do not believe this "doctor" to be competent, much less realistic and he seemed way to eager to cut me open. Needless to say I will not be returning to his office. This guy is a malpractice suit waiting to happen.
