Office does not return pbone calls.
This DR told me and my geriatric father that masks do not work….. during a pandemic and proceeded to get into a political “discussion”. Very inappropriate for any DR to be advising at risk populations to not wear masks. His personal beliefs do not belong in the DR office. We did not ask him for his advice. He just stated that during a discussion about getting the flu shot. Will NEVER go back.
Do not see this DR. He is terrible. Rude, condescending and treated my father with zero respect. Oh and he doesn’t follow mask protocols and thinks the Covid-19 pandemic is a hoax🤦♀️. He works with at risk patients!
At my last appointment, Dr. Skelly spent more time complaining about Covid restrictions than dealing with my concerns: saying masks don’t work against the virus, disparaging Dr. Anthony Fauci as a know-nothing, disparaging all so-called medical “experts”, promoting herd immunity. This stuff is dangerous and if someone followed his advice it could threaten their health or life. It seems his political beliefs are taking precedence over his medical training.
Terrible!!! No bedside manner at all!! We have waited in the waiting room over an hour for an appointment. My parents are 85 and he cancelled a tele visit and wants them to come to the office with all of this Covid disease going on!! Makes me feel he is only in it for ripping off Medicare instead of the patient. Never again!
My personal experience with Dr. Skelly was very professional and good. He was my dad's doctor and my mom's doctor. My mom became ill with Alzheimer's disease and he treated her well, until she missed one appointment due to Alzheimer's she wouldn't go to the appointment. I had to put mom in a nursing home facility after she became ill with pneumonia and I was called by phone saying, he will no longer remain as her doctor. I was devastated, because he was her doctor for over 20 years. I thought he really cared about his patients. What a disappointment?
Dr Skellys bedside manner is atrocious. He spoke in a condescending manner to my family member and acted like he is the supreme being of all Dr. I was appalled how he barked orders to my older parent who has some processing problems as a residual from a stroke. He did not listen and makes blanket assumptions. Also, does not listen to what is being said by the patient. I would not recommend him to see anyone who has issues with memory, processing speed and cognitive issues.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Skelley for several years. He is easy to talk to and aids me in my health decisions and treatment for several chronic diseases. I recommend him highly.
What ever you do, if you do nothing else - make sure that you order a copy of your records after visiting this person.
Dr. Skelly is a good listener and asks appropriate questions in addition to just looking at lab results or x-rays. I believe he takes a logical approach and does not over react to issues / changes. I have confidence in him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
