From first office visit through out patient surgery, Dr. Abu-Hamdan was very knowledgeable of issues my husband was having, thorough and clear in explanations of surgery procedures and after care. Very patient, yet precise in his performance of his services. Staff in office and at St Joe outpatient surgery center were excellent, as well. Definitely one of the best medical interactions we’ve experienced.

Dr Abu-Hamdan did my tonsillectomy. Ok yes it was painful afterward as expected. I recovered fully. Dr. And staff he was helpful with post-surgical care and answering any questions I had. I would have liked some better pre-surgury instructions because it said to limit moving around to avoid bleeding risk but It would have been better to advise to walk around a little bit every hour during the day to avoid getting a blood clot elsewhere like a leg vein clot. Also, the pain and anti nausea meds are very constipating so recommending taking a stool softener right after surgery would have also been helpful. I ate everything from out of a blender for 2 weeks. Also, OTC liquid pain medicine contains citric acid and burns very badly. Overall this office handled all of my concerns and I felt very well cared for after urgery.

Extremely caring. Very concerned about my well being. Professional and informative about my health staus. They went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable during the initial office visit and the procedure and follow up appointments. Love this group of doctors and nurses.

Dr.Abu-Hamdan didn't rush me thru my appointment.I have alot of sinus and ear infection. He was able to help me in the office and not with surgery. Thank you Doctor.
