List of MIchael A Manbeck's Reviews
I’m very biased when it comes to Dr. Manbeck but trust and believe he is a very good and caring Doctor. He is very thorough and will do what is best for his patients. If you want answer’s see Dr. Manbeck
Dr. Manbeck has never met with me in his office, I find this odd. He set up my procedures both upper and lower GI through a person in his office. He spoke with me both before and after these procedures - not the most ideal time for me to comprehend. The most disappointing for me was when he ordered a CT scan, then had a person in his office call me about results and who suggested I may need surgery. That is the kind of news one wants to hear directly from the doctor in the office while reviewing the test results. Fortunately, I went for a second opinion and a followup test revealed I have cancer. Later I requested a copy of the first CT scan from Dr. Manbeck in which I learned it also detected cancer. Had I relied on Dr. Manbeck to discuss the radiologists findings with me I never would have known I have cancer. He had an obligation to discuss the tests findings directly with me even if the results are not in his area of expertise. He should have referred me to a cancer doctor.
Very knowledgeable and personable. Always available. Reassuring and up front so you feel you know what is happening with your situation. Explains things in plain language and feels as if he cares about you.
If I could give him zero stars l would! After a colonoscopy done by Manbeck he said I was fine even though I went in for anal bleeding. A couple days after the colonoscopy l filled up a toilet with bright red blood and went into the ER the next day I called his office and his rude receptionist AMANDA said so what and said a bunch of mean and horrible things to me and never returned any of my phone calls to manbeck. After having complained to the office manager Manbeck called me personally from his cell phone and said I would never get health care again in Indiana. Manbeck and his staff are truly the most inconsiderate people I've ever encountered he should not be practicing medicine. DO NOT GO TO HIM!
This doctor could of cared less about my bleeding after my colonoscopy I ended up in the ER which I was scoped again and then basically told I was fine and sent on my way.. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone even his front desk staff was horrible.
I have been going to Dr. Manbeck for the past 5 years and can not imagine ever seeing anyone else.
Ended up in hospital for several days after a routine colonoscopy. Doctor removed too many polyps, causing internal bleeding.
Dr. Manbeck has solved several issues for me I trust him and he's very nice and has always had good follow up.
It's doctors way or the highway. I wouldn't show up with any opinion concerning your own care. My vet gives more time to his patients.
Dr. Manbeck did two upper endoscopies on me last year. He was gentle and very personable. My husband and I were quite impressed with him. I highly recommend him.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
