My 93-year-old mother was a patient of Dr. kvietkus. She had an appointment scheduled for a 3 month prescription renewal evaluation. She was not having any medical issues. I drive 1 1/2 hours to get to my mother's to take her to her doctor's appt. The office called me when I was over half way there to say that the doctor could not see my mom that day due to an emergency. We would have to reschedule. i wanted to reschedule for the next week when I would make the trip back to my mother's, but my mother needed one of her prescriptions refilled in the meantime. The doctor refused to even give her 3 days of a refill unless she came in for an appointment. I could not go back the next day when they more or less demanded I bring her if I wanted any pills refilled...... I tried to explain that my mother was not having any issues and simply needed a few days to get by, and it was Not our fault that the appointment was missed.... My poor mother was beside herself, and this caused so much unnecessary stress and hardship on her and myself. Dr. kvietkus has no compassion or willingness to work with you as a patient. She and her office staff are cold and unfriendly. If you want a doctor who genuinely shows compassion and cares about you as a person - Do Not go to this Doctor.....

My 93-year-old mother was a patient of Dr. Kvietkus. She had an appt. for a 3 month prescription renewal. I had driven 1 1/2 hours from my home to take her to her appt when the Dr.'s office called to cancel her appt due to an emergency. I asked for a partial refill of one of her prescriptions until I could get her in the next week. Dr. Kvietkus refused to refill the prescription until she was seen in the office. I could not go back the next day and asked for a few days to tide her over. They demanded she come in the next day if she wanted even one pill. This treatment was totally unacceptable and shows the lack of compassion of this doctor and her staff. This was not our fault that she missed her appointment, and caused undue stress on all of us. I would definitely not recommend this doctor is you want to be compassionately cared for. Her staff are cold and uncaring.
