I had surgery on my right shoulder in May for a torn labrum and impingement. I am very happy with the care I received from Allied and Dr. Akre. I have a ways to go yet for full recovery but I would definitely recommend him for anyone who needs orthopedic surgery.

I was referred to Dr. Akre due to an injury sustained from a fall. Allied Bone and Joint we're quick to respond and I was able to see the Dr. within hours of the injury. I was treated very efficiently and kindly from beginning to end. Dr. Akre was honest and caring in explaining the seriousness of the injury and the treatment plan.

I saw Dr. Akre for a problem with a bicep tendon in my shoulder and felt like I received excellent attention and care - from the front desk to the doctor. In addition to checking my shoulder/range of motion/rotation/etc, he looked at x-rays and a previous MRI and gave me a range of options as to how to go forward. I was very comfortable with the decisions we made together. I would certainly recommend him.

He is awesome! I was ready to give up and live in pain the rest of my life! Then I go see dr akre! He listened ,he was concerned, and he got me where I needed to go to get fixed and live pain free!
