Dr. Bae was very unprofessional when he saw me for a minor surgical procedure. He had very poor bedside manner, was rude, rushed, and inconsiderate. Fits the stereotype of an abrasive and arrogant surgeon. Please improve your attitude or find a different profession, that's not how you behave with patients.

Who made him a surgeon? Had a procedure and he messed up. He had no regrets. Instead he has a terrible attitude. Please find any other surgeon but him.

My friend had a procedure done with dr.Seong Bae about 2 days ago (removal of big mass).was very fast.He is pretty much professional,has a self confidence,which transfers to the patient as well.Highly recommend.

Does not deserve the one poor star rating! The worst bedside manner matches perfectly with his "acclaimed" surgical skills. Hew never even examined the three areas to be extracted - included one on my scalp. Put in the WRONG (plastic) stitches that never made it out of the hospital. When i went back for emergency visit the next day he was short with me. He knew me messed me up and perhaps his narcissism did not allow him to be the licensed care giver he is supposed to be, instead of the guy asking me "what I would like to do?". Fix what you broke , I said. He told me I was difficult and come back in a month when it heals!!! I have two holes in my back that should never have been there. Hopefully he won't hurt anyone today

I had an inguinal hernia and went to Dr Seoung Bae in the Van Nuys location..he checked me out and said he had done about 100 surgeries with only 3 problems but is good at this surgery not to worry. He was nice at 1st but after surgery and I went for checkup basically said I was doing well though Staples were kinda not ok but I was still in pain and all he said was keep walking... understand this surgery was March of 2017.. needless to say I am writing this near the end of July 2018 roughly 17 months later and I am still in major pain also walking with a cane something I never did before.. I see much older people walk better and faster not to mention jog... I went to the office in January I believe complaining of the major pain also said fix this or I'm gonna get an attorney if he doesn't fix it.... after going there and calling many times before ever speaking with him which I called cause he didn't bother and appeared unconcerned except to later refer me to different types of doctors... attempting to put it on something else but not his work..the pain is there plus I'm swollen and he nor Dr Loomis who he works under here in Van Nuys both refuse to repair the problem.. understand this was the 1st time I have ever had surgery on my body.. I am losing work due to attitude and non caring... I would love to kick his ass but I would probably fall losing my balance because of his botched job...DO NOT USE HIM HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH!!!!

Dr. Bae is a rockstar!Look, going to the doctor - let alone a surgeon - is never an enjoyable experience. And recently, I had to do just that... A same-day surgical procedure.Lucky for me, I was in the care of Dr. Bae. He took the time to explain everything about the procedure I was going to undergo, answering all my questions (and my wife's!), and made me feel both calm and comfortable prior to the surgery, instilling confidence in me that I was good hands.Good hands, indeed! The surgery transpired without a hitch. And my level of pain following the procedure was almost nonexistent, even without pain meds.Worth mentioning is the professionalism and overall excellence exhibited by Dr. Bae's entire surgical and nursing team.Bottom line: If you find yourself in need of surgery and Dr. Bae is your surgeon, breathe easy -- you're in excellent hands!

Worst surgeon ever... I can't believe his scope of practice is surgeon. He has no bedside manners. After incision same day surgery he did not discuss procedure went well or not. His staples looked like a cable man did my surgery. It's embarrassing to say that I had full confidence in a small procedure which now is infected. Pictures to show and this is after cleaning and changing my dressing 5 times a day. No aftercare instructions were given, there's a open wound and he does not discuss.
