Love the staff and the doctors. They are great with my children

Dr. Dunlap & staff are amazing and so friendly. My daughter was previously traumatized and since switching to this office it was been so much better. The anesthesiologist Dr. Matthew C and his assistant Joe were so incredibly helpful and supportive and friendly which is really nice when it is your daughters 1st type of surgery. So happy we switched

It is deeply disappointing when great doctors and medical staff are overshadowed by an "office manager" whose behavior is unacceptable. If you are unfortunate enough to encounter Courtney, be prepared for unprofessionalism in the form of being yelled at and hung up on. When you have a question, Courtney will often misinterpret it and claim she has "meticulously noted everything in black and white." She boasts about her audit trails but refuses to acknowledge any mistakes on her part. Courtney's conduct is appalling. Shell spit out the times she spoke to you, down to the minute but failed to provide any evidence of having spoken the insurance company. Her excuse of "I tried twice and got disconnected" is insufficient. Handling insurance matters is part of her full-time job, and while I acknowledge that dealing with my dental insurance is challenging, it does not justify Courtney's behavior. The team at South Shore Smiles needs to critically evaluate how their " office manager " Courtney works with their. patients. I would find it hard to believe if I am the only one who has experienced such treatment from Courtney. Additionally, After requesting to speak with the dentist and being ignored or berated by Courtney repeatedly, I finally managed to get connect and provide my feedback. I sincerely hope this results in some coaching or professional development classes for Courtney. It's understandable to feel frustrated and annoyed, but it's essential to maintain professionalism and realize the importance of treating patients with respect.

I was not pleased with how the receptionist treated a customer due to her mistake. The way she raised her voice at that young lady and used foul language also not to mention my child was present . I’ve been a customer for over 3 years and after today they have lost me as a customer. I don’t have medical insurance I pay out of pocket and what if one day she makes a mistake on my end and talk to me like that I will not wait to be treated or talked to like that. I will take my hard earned money to a new office and hopefully this teaches a lesson to you guys .

My kids have been seeing Dr. Dunlop & her whole team since they were babies and even now out of network, we wouldn't go anywhere else! They are so patient and great with their patients. I would 100% recommend.

I have been taking my kids here for about a year and finally became a patient myself today. I had the best experience after having horrible experiences at multiple other offices in the area. Dr Shieh was amazing.

Took both of my children here for an exam then some fillings and an extraction. I wanted to thank the whole staff for their proffesionalism and being so friendly with the kids, made it so much easier keeping them calm and reassured. Would recommend to anyone!

Very fast and excellent service! 👌 for my child and I! They are VERY WELL with kids as well, non judge mental, and was open to my personal requests! I walked away very satisfied with the job on both myself and my child Wil DEFINITELY be back!

I had a great experience at Southshore Smiles! The hygienist was gentle with my teeth and was compassionate (I was anxious). The dentist was also compassionate, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He recommended a mouth guard, but didn't try to get me to spend a lot of money by having one made. He suggested buying one off Amazon or at Walgreens. Everyone, the entire staff, was really nice and welcoming! I will definitely be returning in 6 months!
