List of Chris Lueking's Reviews
He did my catheter placements for my hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. As far as I can tell, his technique is impeccable. I am told that his bedside manner is horrible; however, the way I see it, he is my surgeon, not my doctor, and what surgeon doesn't have poor bedside manner? The nurses can console me. I just wanted him to cut me up and put me back together, correctly, and he did that.
Dr Lueking was very thorough and professional during my procedure. I HIGHLY recommend him for surgical services. Thank you, Dr Lueking!
Typical doctor's office, set & wait for unbelievable amounts of time only to see & talk with the doctor for about 5 - 10 minutes if that.
I love Dr. Lueking. Hes a great Dr and surgeon. He repaired 2 hernias for me and the incisions were clean looking, and the care was phenomenal. I'm very pleased with his work! I highly recommend this Dr!
Very grateful for knowledgeable skilled surgeons and their staff. I was reassured by ER staff regarding Dr. Lueking’s ability. Very open to questions.
Comes across as unprofessional, indifferent and not very knowledgeable. I cancelled my surgery because my "gut instinct" was telling me not to let this guy near me.
Excellent surgeon. Pre-op through procedure and post-op checks, Dr. Lueking and his staff ensure questions are answered, additional information is offered, and the patient and family understand each aspect of the treatment. Highly recommend.
I only choose to write reviews when I feel service was extraordinary or completely insufficient, and this time it was the latter. The only experience I have had with Lueking was not a pleasant one. He was the on-call doctor when I called in regarding how my poorly husband was feeling after surgery (he was not the doctor who performed the surgery), and had to be paged to get ahold of him. When he answered the phone the first and only thing he had to say was “I got a page”. Didn’t introduce himself or ask what issues he was having. The rest of the call he was very short and condescending as I was asking questions, and would speak over me every time I tried explaining the situation. Was very snarky and demeaning with every sentence. He told me to have my husband take ibuprofen, which is contraindicated post-surgery, even the nurses post-op informed us to not let him take ibuprofen, only Tylenol. When I brought it up to Lueking that he we were informed not to take it, he impolitely said “well why not”, to which I replied “because it’s a blood thinner and he just had surgery this morning.” At the end of our conversation, he said “well if you have a number for a pharmacy for me to call right now, I need to get to a procedure”. All I could think about was if this was some older gentleman or lady calling in instead of me, how horrible they would have felt to have to deal with a doctor with such poor behavior. I am slightly understanding of needing to get to your next procedure, but that is no reason to be the way he was. I was not impressed, and I’m thankful this man was not the one who performed surgery on my husband today.
Everything by the book. You hire a surgeon for skills, not for warm fuzzies. Office visits always went fast. Office staff is very good.
May be a good surgeon but he has no skill with the follow up. The nurses did not know his correct orders, he did not answer the questions asked after surgery, during the follow up visit he gave almost no time to the patient and seemed annoyed at being asked questions regarding the care of the wound.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
