Dr. Matthew Wells is/was incredible! A phenomenal physician, gifted surgeon and amazing human being. He repaired my ACL, lateral meniscus and medial meniscus. His knowledge is second to none and his ability to calmly explain the situation and surgical options left a huge impact during a time of apprehension and extreme pain. His surgical skills have produced amazing results, a timely recovery and lasting joy of returning to a "normal" life post surgery.In addition, the office staff is a dream to work with and following surgery the therapy department was everything and more to ensuring a complete and full recovery.Compassionate, caring and, more than almost any other physician I've ever seen, honestly out to see my best interests are the primary concern at every step.

Dr. Wells helped me out when my right foot got infected. He's a very kind and professional man who is easy to like. I would highly recommend him.

We have been working with Dr. Wells and his nurse Chloe with a health issue my son has been having. His communication has been absolutely phenomenal. He even called us over a holiday weekend when we needed him. He truly cares about his patients, and listens to what they have to say. We would highly recommend Dr. Wells to anyone searching for a doctor.

Suffering from severe pain in my right hip for over a year went to see other orthopedic surgeons , none I trusted as much as Dr Wells. Honest diagnosis explained everything about hip replacement surgery, and 5 to 6 weeks later I'm back to doing everything I used to do before. Great job doc. I am not in the habit of leaving reviews, however, in this case, it is incumbent upon me to recognize the professionalism and understanding of Dr. Wells. Suffice to say that I have been to several Orthopaedic Doctors for my shoulder in the last two years. Often, I have been advised to take some medication and return or undergo physical therapy for several weeks and then return. Most physicians just kept "milking the cow", if you know what I mean.Thanks to Dr. Wells, he correctly diagnosed the issue of my shoulder and injected me in the precise locations after he studied the X-rays and MRI films I brought in to show him. Unlike all other physicians, Dr. Wells actually took the time to look at the images in order to arrive at the appropriate conclusion.He thoroughly showed me why the shoulder bothers me and gave me extensive additional knowledge heretofore unbeknownst to me.Without reservation, I truly recommend Dr. Wells. I hope you meet him if the need arises as I am sure I will be keeping him for good.

Went to see Dr Wells yesterday after having a problem with my knee for 10 weeks, I had previously visited 4 other doctors in Chicago and Fort Lauderdale. Dr Wells was the first one to listen and examine me from my words and symptoms not from just the xrays. He quickly diagnosed my problem (torn ACL) not just arthritis.I would recommend Dr Wells for all your orthopedic needs I know I will not be going anywhere else.
