List of Stanford Rapp's Reviews
My wife's had severe tremors, saw Dr Rapp .His diagnosis was right on. Prescribed meds tremors are gone. He was very thorough, had tests run. They found she had a brain aneurysm on right side, that needed taken care of asap.He sent us to Dr Hiedi and he performed surgery and repaired the aneurysm, which was large. If it wasn't for Dr. Rapps knowledge and his being so thorough, she never would of known how close she was to a stroke or death .we feel he saved her life.
Dr. Rapp was very thorough and informative. He really listened to us and answered all of our questions. You could tell that he actually cared. Highly recommend!

Doctor will talk over you and give you less than the time of day in the very first visit where they are supposed to listen and hear what you have to say about your condition. You voice what you are comfortable with and show him past tests so you don't have to repeat unnecessary stressful testing experiences and he barely looks at your past records then orders the same tests anyways without explanation. just a "Do you have a problem with taking this test?" When I clearly already expressed that I do have a problem when i could squeeze a word in. Nothing is explained to you even though he talks faster than an auctioneer. Save yourself time, energy, money, and go elsewhere. Also the office feels its ok to give away your emergency contact information for non emergency situations. Have fun with that.... i certainly did.
Doesn't listen--talks over you----- and office staff gives out emergency contact information for NON EMERGENCY situations --- violation of personal information. Appalling.
I had a great experience at this office. Having had a rough time finding a good Neurologist in my area, Dr. Rapp was awesome. He was very thorough, covering more than enough, took on another issue that I had AND I felt his office staff to be very nice. It made me feel great to feel at home. Doctor visits make me very anxious. They were just awesome!! Thanks again and will continue to go WHEREVER he goes!!
This Doctor office is Very Rude and will Cut you Right off while Speaking.Very Unproffesional and I would not Recommend his office to anybody
Stanford Rapp saw me by Skype -- something I did not want and had no knowledge I would be receiving -- while I was a patient in a Promedica hospital recently. He obviously had not read my chart because he asked me not once -- but twice -- if I was familiar with two particular medications. I was stunned and outraged. I had to tell him that if he had read my chart, he would see I was receiving both, including one medication (for MS-related symptoms) through a pump in my body! At that point, he said, "Maybe I should reacquaint myself with your chart. I'll get back to you in 5 minutes." He never did. The whole episode was appalling! I am treated by a wonderful neurology practice in Toledo, and they were disgusted. Also because they never were called for consult, even though my husband and I told them who to call. Apparently this Dr. Rapp thought he could handle it himself. Obviously, he could not.
This is the worst Neuro doc I have ever seen. He just gave me tons off meds said if they don't work we could try something else. Well he had nothing else, he has no clue how to treat migraines. I was in pain 24/7 for a year! Once in hospital I left in worse pain than I went in at. Then after switching doctors, he refused to treat my migraine where he is suppose to be head of neuro,(hospital) he told them to tell me to call my own doc, who doen't use that hosp. I was impatient! Denied care!
He was very kind and listened to both my husband and me. He was very thorough. We instantly liked him he is the answer to our prayers! The receptionist and nurse was very nice and accommodating. Very clean no complaints!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
