Very professional, compassionate and easy to talk to. Performed colon resection on my husband and he is doing the best! We're blessed to have been directed to him for surgery and continued care.

Dr. Carson put a gastric stimulator in and my wound was open for 28 weeks. Each wk he would remove a bandage and say give it more time. After 16 wks he told me he was leaving the practice to go elsewhere and if it still hadnt healed to see 1 of his associates. The next surgeon said that was totally unacceptable because it left me at risk for septis and it was infected already. I was told by the new surgeon and a plastic surgeon that the incision should have never been placed in the crease of my stomache. I had to have 3 more surgeries to fix what he did. Now I have damage to my muscle and nerves and require 2 more surgeries. very disheartened because I had so much faith in him.

I had a great experience with Dr. Carson! I had been really sick for over a year before my meeting him and a lot of the treatment that I had received prior to my surgery did not work, so I had a lot of anxiety going into the surgery and during recovery. Dr. Carson was very patient with that and answered all of my questions and helped me feel at ease

Dr Carson performed surgery on me and he saved my life From beginning to end he was there for me and my wife answered all our questions explaining everything in detail he even took in account how malnourished I was an admitted me an week before surgery just to boost up my system I will go to him in future and would recommend him to any one

My husband had a very unexpected and serious colorectal emergency. From day one of meeting him in the emergency room he has been consistent, upfront, involved and extremely personable. When he comes in the room he always pulls up a seat and talks not only about your medical concerns but he asks about YOU. I'm so glad he was available to us in our time of need. We still are not out of the woods yet but I feel very confident in his skills, knowledge and judgment. Plus you cant help but to get a kick out of his surgical scrubs and cowboy boots!
