Alexander Ton's Online Review Report Card

Dr Ton is a wonderful Dr , I have been going to him for 2 years. He listens to all of my concerns and answers all of my questions and I have never felt rushed ! His staff are all very friendly and helpful. Very nonjudgmental place ??

I have been with Dr. Ton for about 14 years. In those years he has become a real friend to me. I have outlived everyone in my family, so I've adopted Dr Ton. After knowing each other for so many years. we talk like father and son. Me being the father. He's the one that has kept me alive for so long, so I guess he's stuck with me. I'm so much better for knowing him. Sincerely, Old Man Dave.

I can't rate Dr Ton only his practice. Despite being a patient for over 5 years I have never once met the Dr. and have only been seen by nurses. This place has taken on too many medicare patients and as a result they treat patients like 2nd class citizens at best. The staff is ruder than you would expect prison guards to be towards prisoners. Aggressive signs are posted like wallpaper over every wall and door. "No cell phones. No recording etc" Front desk staff is rude right off the get go in a borderline criminal manner. I just called about being seen about IBS and possible food allergies and was just flat out told "We don't do that here." The last time i called was a year ago. I had been hit in the chest by a car running a redlight and was still coughing up blood a week later and needed my family dr to refer me to get a chest xray. "We don't do that here!" I was finally allowed to be seen under the strict condition that I not say the word "car crash" I was told that if I said the words car crash, they would immediately bill me out of pocket for the visit due at the time of the visit. It did not matter to them that The women who ran over me's insurance had already agreed in writing to pay all medical bills. They did not explain to me why but were more hostile than any human being should be to another human being. They saw me, referred me to a radiologist to get chest xrays, the xrays were sent back. They never contacted me and when I reached out to them about the results several weeks later they said "well if there was a problem you would have heard about it I imagine." Almost every time I have been in the office I've been drug tested with no explanation or warning. I've never failed because I don't do drugs. I feel that this office borders on criminal medical negligence and wage discrimination.

Been with Dr. Ton just over 2 years. I have multiple health issues. Dr. Ton has always been very concerned about me and my issues. I lost a son 3 years ago, have not recovered from it. He understands and knows that my stress has caused me to not progress well. He also knows my health is very poor. He never fails to sit and talk with me. He goes into detail with each and every problem. At one appointment I showed him a skin condition I had for 8 years. No one has ever even tried to help me with it. 2 years in the Dermatology clinic in Indy was a waste of time and gas. Within the next couple minutes he called a specialist, I was in that office in 10 minutes. I was in terrible pain , the blisters did not heal. just connected with the next one. Dr. Ponugoti and Dr. Ton have been life savers for me. My husband of 27 years recently passed away. Again Dr Ton has been there to hold my hand.I am very sensative to medicines. Quite often he will order something that makes me sick. No worries, he works until he finds one that works. He has other family members of mine and we just love him. He has my trust, confidence, and I depend on him to try to make it better for me. Thank you Dr. Ton. Oh, the skin condition is not gone but is 99% better.

Best Dr that I have had for years. He takes the time to listen to his patients and runs necessary test and etc to help diagnosis what the problem might be. Been with him 6 years.

A degree doesn't mean anything when you don't care about the patients. He may as well let the patients self-diagnose. He doesn't take the time to listen to patients, he is rude to say the least and I would not advise seeing him for any medical reason. And his staff is just as bad!

Worst doctor ever.

He has probably one of the rudest staffs that I have ever met. If you are a hypochondria or a pill popper I would recommend this one to you. For any problem my wife or Ii had, it was here there's a pill for it.Also anyone going to him should be in top physical condition, second most common words out of his mouth is "well your fat, lose weight and that will go away"
