The WORST gynecologist I’ve ever visited. I saw her for cramps that made me pass out. She told me it was normal and asked if I wanted to be on birth control SEVEN times. Turns out it was an ovarian cyst that had folded over on itself twice and was dying inside me. I would give her 0 stars if I could. Never visit her if you have any kind of women’s health problems.

I think because she’s been in practice so long she forgets there’s real people. One of the most unfriendly, empathetic people I’ve met. Was kind of forced into getting a c-section and let residents close me without asking and permission. I got an infection and she saw me for 20 seconds said I’m fine and slapped my dirty bandages back on me. I hope I never have to deal with her again.

Dr. Coutinho is the rudest doctor, she has a horrible bed side manner and the way she talks to you is so inappropriate, she maybe good at delivering baby’s but if you have any female issues you might as well forget it. I wouldn’t have given her one star but it wouldn’t let me post how I feel about her.

I had another OB before switching over to Dr. Coutinho and I am so grateful that I did. Dr. Countinho had delivered my baby. She was very supportive during the whole process, She had allowed me to take control of how I was pushing and all, she was very skilled during the whole process. She is direct, straight to the point; which I truly appreciated, She had explained everything very well. I am now pregnant again with my 2nd child and I have her as my OB once again. I highly recommend her to deliver your baby. Dr. Countinho is and I know one of The best Female OBGYN’s in Terre Haute.

Dr. Coutinho has been wonderful throughout all 3 of my pregnancies. She delivered my daughters over 10 years ago and is going to deliver my third. She is wonderful when it comes to managing my autoimmune disease and keeping me comfortable throughout my pregnancies. Very knowledgeable, informative and listens. I would strongly recommend her!

I must say this Doctor. Is like some one form the stone age. Her bed side manners are hirable and her skills as a baby Doctor. Is warde. She han me as the husband to my wife and baby's father. She don't keep her ward and she is sefe sintered. No thoughts to my wife's plate while she was giving birth. 9 days latter my wife is still expireinpain and she was rought on my wife's body through the whole thing please don't pick this hasben to fell your needs as a doctor.

She is a horrible doctor. If you are a bigger person don't expect her to help.

I am now a labor and delivery nurse, though when I was a patient in 2003 I was just a young mom experiencing the worst event of my life. I now specialize in caring for families experiencing a loss, so that no one ever has to feel the way this woman made me feel. To top it off, her lack of attention to my case resulted in a severe uterine infection a week after my loss that required me to be hospitalized ...

Dr. Coutinho delivered my second baby. She always took time to answer my questions. She even held my baby at the postpartum appointment. The experience was wonderful! She delivered my third baby. The clinic was obviously more busy & the receptionists seemed frazzled. But Dr. Coutinho took time to answer any questions. She came in to deliver when she wasn’t on call and we had another great experience. I recommended her to 4 of my friends who love her too! I begged the clinic to see me 10 months later for abdominal pain. Dr. Coutinho was able to fit me into the schedule, but she misdiagnosed and sent me home. A week later I begged to be seen ASAP, but the receptionists wouldn’t schedule an ultrasound until the following week. The receptionist told me to get pain meds. 😡 Instead I went to the ER & was diagnosed with a ruptured ectopic pregnancy. The experience not only took the life of my baby and my Fallopian tube, but possibly the extra waiting cost me an ovary as well. 😢 Good thing I didn’t wait any longer 💀
