I came to this office with a uti and provided a urine sample stating I am under severe distress. I called later that day thinking they could get me medicine as I (again) was in so much pain. They stated I had to wait 48-72 hours for my test results to come back. Well, 79 hours later and still don’t have test results back and I’m in worse pain. They stated I needed to call back Monday (waiting an additional 2 more days). With my typical past uti problems, I will be heading to the er and will be peeing blood before I can get any relief. I do not recommend going to this office as no one literally cares about whether it not your suffering. It’s “ just how things are done and what the doctor does and there’s no guarantee he will actually prescribe you medicine anyways”.

I’ve had kidney stones for 9 years this is the first practice that took the time to explain and were very caring and respectful. Dr Dave and Dr Shanks went above and beyond. They mapped out a plan and worked together to bring me some relief. I wouldn’t go anywhere else I can get in touch with Tracey their nurse at anytime she’s wonderful and answers my questions in a very timely manner wonderful practice and people.

He's a rock star. Explained procedure exactly and performed it exactly. Very professional and incredibly friendly. Urology procedures aren't something you would expect pleasure from but if it results in minimal pain or discomfort then what more could you expect? Add to that he volunteers his time to those in need (read the bio). Be thankful you have a urologist who cares. They are getting pretty thin these days.

consider Dr Shanks a top notch doctor and his staff is quite friendly. only issue I've had is after surgery for bladder cancer I was told I should begin treatment with BCG in 4-6 weeks to prevent reoccourance. my surgery was mid March and I have not been scheduled for treatment. called the office twice in May and was promised a call back but have never recieved one. in Fairness this medication is in short supply but I was told in was now available. would just like to be updated on what is going on. Steve C
