I have always liked meeting with him, my wife really enjoyed contact with him when I had my heart catheter done. He explains very well, listens to you and so glad I was referred to him by my local physician.

The Dr. and his staff are excellent. He listens to everything going on, and responds by sending me for tests, or offering his opinion. He is responsible for finding my double blockage, which resulted in open heart surgery before I had heart attack or stroke. I would recommend him to others, and am very grateful he is my Dr.

Dr. Shatagopam performed an angiogram on my mother's heart and upon finding a blockage was able to clear it with my prior permission. My mother had no issues with pain, other than the uncomfortable feeling of having to lay for so long that first day, which is a necessary part of the clotting process. He kept in close contact with me and the nursing staff at Union. He was very professional and everything you could ask for in a physician. He showed me the film of my mother's heart so I would understand what he had done. Follow up appointment a month later is tomorrow. I am very happy with this Doctor.

Aunt had Stints implanted, then no check up for 2+months, then had to have Angiplasty to clear stints. This was performed with NO Anesthesia, NOT EVEN A LOCAL, prior to cutting the Artery in her leg! She went home with pneumonia, and is fighting for her life right NOW!@
