Dr T literally saved my life by insisting that my surgeon check me for a Spinal infection. I had one that was killing me quickly. I'm still here because of her due diligence. Thank you Dr. T !

Dr T Kumar is one of the best there is in my opinion. I just love her. She explaines things and she answers all my questions and her staff is the best as well.

Beware, they’ll say they don’t accept adolescent patients, yet their website CLEARLY states they do. My 17 year old daughter (turns 18 in 4 months) was denied a visit for a severe intestinal issue she’s has from an eating disorder. Very rude on the phone. I would not recommend this office.

I have been going to Dr. T. Kumar for several years....she always explains things to me, gives me the time I need....an has a excellent personality. She is very compassionate & caring in my health....a very dedicated Dr. to all her patients...as I work at Regional Hospital an get to see her interact with a lot of patients...Very knowledgeable an has a great bedside manner. She is definitely a good Dr. to see for all your healthcare concerns...

where do I start. I had to wait 2 hrs for a 20 min check up. The check up revealed an issue I need to go for an ultrasound. I go for the ultrasound and there is an issue, Dr never calls to sch a biopsy or tell me its bad or good. After 2 calls to get the appoint for the biopsy I know I need its been 6 weeks and no one has called. my previous moment a yr ago was EXACTLY the same.I had a low number in an area of blood work .. Dr was concerned.. and never sch appoint so just let me die THANKS

Dr. T. Kumar diagnosed mitrovalve regurgitation---& knew (From testing, etc.) that it was caused by my severe asthma! I had experienced swelling of the feet & ankles for about 2 years before meeting with Dr. T. Kumar. Her diagnosis made a big difference in my life; with a "water pill" prescription, I seldom have any swelling. She also realized that my asthma/allergy symptoms were getting progressively worse, after battling them for more than a decade, & doing everything "right": allergy shots, inhalers, prescribed pills for allergies, etc. I was in the hospital three times in 7 years. I'd been a patient of Dr. T. Kumar about a year previous to the most recent visit to intensive care. She told me that she knew I liked the Yellowstone Region very much, & she also suggested Reno, Nevada, as a great area for me to literally 'breathe' in :) She even wrote my husband a note, explaining that if we didn't move away from Indiana's humid, allergy-laden atmosphere, I'd have COPD by the time I was 50!I'm going to be 49 next month, & instead of being on 6-8 medications for asthma/allergies daily, I now have just an albuterol inhaler & an Advair inhaler. No more allergy shots, etc. It's an amazing difference in my life---just by taking her advice & moving to Montana 3 years ago! I'll never forget how great a doctor she is---she saved me from COPD!

This doctor is rude. The first time I saw her, I was very cordial and well prepared with a typed medical history and medication information, but she was not only uninterested in my objections to the type of medicine she prescribed [poor previous results, plus valid fears over a side effect which would play into a family cancer susceptbiity], she tried to deceive me with the prescription she wrote. [Eventually, I got my customary medicine renewed from her, through sheer stubborness on my part.] She told me, on that first visit, "I have enough stress in my personal life that I don't want any stress from a patient. I think you should find another doctor." Much easier said that done; believe me, I WANT another doctor!... She missed hearing the heart arrythmia I know I have, and others have NOT missed, and the mitral valve stenosi. She does not understand, or her nurse does not, that certain drugs must be written on special prescription pads. When she wrote a prescription for a specially regulated drug on an ordinary prescription pad, and I accepted it without comment, knowing it would be rejected by the pharmacy, [and then had the pharmacy call her, not myself, so she could not feel I was making trouble for her], and tell her it had not been validly prepared--they absolutely refused the prescription because of the manner in which it had been prepared-- I went back and got the properly prepared prescription. Her nurse handed it to me as I walked up to the window; I said nothing except a polite "thank you" and then the nurse said; "I think you are going to have to find another doctor." This is the nurse who is a US native "ethnically 'from around here'," but she does not speak grammatically, so one has little confidence in her academic record as a nurse. This nurse and the doctor are extremely hostile. I was always polite. Send the doctor back to India; she obviously came her to "get rich" but has no cultural sensitivity to her US patients. [And I happen to LIKE Indian doctors!] She apparently has trouble relating to a woman with an education who knows her own body and what it's problems have been. I would not trust her for anything, and am going to try to find another doctor. By her own admission there is some sort of stress in her family life, and she has no business passing her frustrations along to her dealings with her patients.
