This man gave me back my eyesight No pain at all.And i can see..what a man

After four eye surgeries I can vow that he is the best! Exceptionally skilled, knowledgeable, takes his time to be sure to answer any questions, and has a tremendous “chair side” manner! And his sense of humor is great for allaying any pre-o jitters. His nurse is very helpful and knowledgeable as well. I highly recommend him.

I had lasik with Dr. lewyckyj in January of 2020 ang I am very happy with how the surgery turned out. I love not having to wear contacts anymore.

My neurologist told me to see an ophthalmologist for 2 test: Glaucoma and Field Vision. I went in personally to make the appointment with the referrals in hand. I asked them to scan the referrals so I could retain the original copies. This was my experience with Dr Lewyckyj: He didn’t let me finish explaining my visual experiences, he cut me off and said he understood the problem. He made me feel that he didn’t believe my medication consisted of just one pill—a med for cholesterol. He did not do the Field Vision test, but didn’t explain why. I called to make an appointment for the Field vision test, went in for scheduled appointment and it wasn’t in my chart. The Tech didn’t know why I was there. When the Tech went to ask him about the discrepancy, he said, it wasn’t needed. Dr.Lewyckyj refused to honor another Dr. ‘s request. I felt this was highly unprofessional.

One week since my mom's bilateral upper/lower lid surgery. She has done so well! Up and playing Scrabble the next day. Calm expertise and caring is likely to credit. Excellent experience with Dr. Lewyckyj, his staff, and the Northlake Park Surgical Center. I feel sad when people are worried about time spent in a waiting room. Bring your phone or book and be thankful for this caliber of care in Northwest Indiana! We are!!

I have no complaint about Dr. Lewyckyj nor the waiting time when I have an appointment. My experience with the care he gives is a five star. My problem is getting to ask him a direct question about a worry I have since a major surgery about my cataract implant. I'm seeing a double circle image from my right eye. Especially in a faint light when I open my eye.

I have been seeing Dr. L for 3 years and have never been out of his waiting room and into his examining room in less than 1.5-2.0 hours. NO REGARD for the importance of patient's time. Obviously patients are being way overbooked! I'll look elsewhere !

My son, who has autism, and I were shuffled between three waiting areas before put into an exam room and two hours later still no doctor! The entire office felt like we were cattle moved from one area to another and the staff so impersonal solidified my opinion. I walked out and stated to several staff members that I do not wait two hours for any doctor No one is that good who cannot respect my time or my sons disability

i went to his valpo office to discuss eye lid surgery, i waited over 2 hours to see him , i complained about the long wait. after the surgery i went for my follow up visit again waited over 2 hours. when he finally saw me ,he read my chart and said see you in 2 months. he never examined me, just looked at the chart witch upset me because upon arrival i told the nurse i was having problems. I left the office and did not make an appt. for the future.I will never recommend or return to ltf eye clinic.The comments made by other patients in both waiting rooms was the long wait time, many saying they were going to find different doctors. thank you, james schott

After waiting for 3 hours to see Dr Lewyckyj, he didn't spend enough time and did not examine my eyes completely until I asled him to take a look at my upper eyelids too which had the main problem. He did a very hastey examination and left my eyes almost unfinished. I'll never go back to him, and will never recommend him to anyone.
