Sally Bodensteiner's Online Review Report Card

I like the fact that she is direct with me. She pulls no punches. She tells me how good or bad it is or can be. She has helped me more than other doctors in my area. DR B is down-to-earth and reminds me of a farmgirl.

She was my kid's PCP. She was very dismissive of any concerns I had. When my newborn had a lot of congestion, cough and she suggested peppermint oil. After that didnt work,SHE TOLD ME TO HAVE THEM SLEEP IN A CARSEAT OR BOUNCER. She comes off very condescending. The last 2 visits me and my infant child have had to wait in the waiting room for over an hour. No updates from staff, no apology. Then when she does come in she zips through it and rushes u out the door. Awful patient care. Awful customer service. Would not recommend unless you like drs who really don't give a crap.

I came here to end an opiate addiction, changed my whole life and have been doing excellent for 3 years and now Dr. Bodensteiner constantly moves me to HIGH amounts of the opiate I'm on. I'm trying to be on the least amount of painkillers possible so I can kick this habit when I move. Guess it's doctors way or no way huh?

Worst Dr ever. I waited at least 45 minutes every appointment for her to be in my room for 3 minutes and down play my concerns as a mother that’s wrong. My kids were very sick she said try peppermint . Really no I needed labs and test run my son had gotten very ill under her care and my 1 year old daughter lost 5 lbs because she said she was healthy and I was over reacting. Worst patient care. Not to mention she always commented on my weight. If I was sad it was my weight if my head hurt it was my weight. Like wow I couldn’t handle it I had to get a new Dr who would care about my concerns.

I was very pleased as a new patient of Dr. Bodensteiner with her thoroughness, calmness and knowledge. I came with a long list of questions and she answered them, gave me options and made recommendations. I truly felt like she listened to me. Yes there was a longer wait at the end of the day but to me it was worth it as I know it was due to her thoroughness with the patients before me as I am sure they were just as deserving of her full attention as I was. I highly recommend Dr. Bodensteiner!

Great physician. Knows my history well. Keeps up to date. She's a straight shooter and will refer you to a specialist if needed. Great person to have in my medical team.

Doesn’t know her patients

I have been with Dr. Bodensteiner for three years now. I came out of a bad bad background and needed to keep myself on a drug treatment program to succeed. I knew I only needed a small small amount to survive and still be able to eat, sleep, and please my wife while I work on my education. She started me off at a high milligram and weened me way down to a small amount. When I requested to stay on this small amount she said no I cannot and that I must try an implant if I wish to remain on this medication. So I did. Her rules afterwards we're that I must go down from the large amount in the implant to the same small amount I had gotten to before. I tell her that the implant makes me restless at night and makes it harder to eat because the drug is always active. Now I have asked to return to the same regimen she has had me on and her reply is "I don't want to go up and down on your dose". Are you absolutely kidding me? I wanted two milligrams and she has been taking me up and down like a ski lift. It is ridiculously sad to think that a doctor simply wants her way instead of to actually treat a patient. I am disgusted

Dr. Sally is one of the best doctors that I’ve known. Dr. Sally has been a “God Send” for me.

This is the 2nd time I had an appointment scheduled with doctor bodensteiner and waited in the lobby for over an hour for service. I wasn't seen and had to leave without getting a form signed that could have been sign as my son had already had a physical within the previous 3 months. I wouldn't recommend her practice to anyone explanation. I don't take a 1/2 A-day off of work tonight get something done just not acceptable.
