We liked him just fine , he has a wonderful staff.Then he misdiagnosed my husbands ruptured appendix for constipation,even though his white blood count was high and he was running a temperature. Was rushed by ambulance 2 days later.He nearly died,was in the hospital 10 days 7 of them in ICU missed 6 weeks of work,had massive medical expenses even after the insurance paid.Will never go back.Found an awesome new doctor.

Dr Patel removed part of my vertebra, causing it to collapse onto the disc below. I can barely walk because of what this man did to my spine. I have to have a major surgery with a neurosurgeon and vascular surgeon to try to fix the damage he did. That vertebra and the disc it collapsed onto and the disc above needs to be removed and replaced with an expandable cage. To make matters worse, even though I was struggling to walk even 8 days after this nightmare surgery he did on me, he said he expected more out of me, put me on fentanyl patch and sent me home like that. I was trying to crawl up and down my stairs. He refused to try to figure out why I was in so much pain and said he wasn’t going to because it would be saying that he did something wrong. He has ruined my life and he didn’t even care.

I have been with Dr. Patel for several years now and have found him to be very caring, thorough and knowledgeable. I would recommend him for individuals who even have complex medical situations. He has been able to manage my three specialists care along with his.

I was a patient of this practice for a little over a year and recently decided to return to my previous physician due to numerous issues. Wait times for Dr Salberg and Dr Patel are excessive. On one occasion, I waited over 2 hours for Dr Salberg. When you do get to see them, they are more concerned with trying to catch up on their schedule rather than to address your concerns. Dr. Patel was my physician for several years now. I was 'handed' to him after my previous physician passed away. He was fine most of the time, but had the odd practice of holding up my medications if I didn't schedule appointments with him when he wanted to see me. I travel often, and sometimes I also just couldn't figure out why he wanted to see me (in absence of new test results to discuss, for example). But he would hold up my refills when I did not schedule appointments. Mind you, the medications I take are ones I can't NOT take. I could suffer a heart attack suddenly going off of one of them, for example. I grew tired of this game and decided I needed another physician.

Dr. Patel came across as very discourteous and was in a rush to get me in and out of the door never really looked away from his computer and wrote me a cream for a small fungal rash that actually made me break out all over and when I called his nurse to let them know what had happen they advised me to just try the cream while taking diphenhydramine this of course didn't work at clearing up the break out from the cream or the original issue. I had to go to an urgent care and they wrote me an entirely different cream and everything was cleared up within couple applications... Needless to say I would never go back to this doctor or recommend him to anyone!!!!

He cares, thinks about all the possibilities, and follows up exquisite ly. A wonderful doc.

Dr Patel's staff was friendly, helpful and very understanding. Dr Patel is the first doctor in years that I have felt listened to what I was saying and actually tried to help me. Example: I've had a spot on my hand for over 2 years, I've had a biopsy, tried medicine after medicine and nothing helped and nobody (Even after the biopsy) could tell me what this was and why it was spreading. Dr Patel looks at my hand once...just once and tell's me he believes he knows what it is. He prescribes a cream and guess what? It's almost gone. He handled my phobia of needles by distracting me during my blood work, and he even helped make sure I wasn't in public for too long of a period of time due to my social anxiety. I would not only recommend him for my adult family and friends but for children as well, this doctor really listens to his patients. He made me a believer in good doctors, and trust me with a cynic like me, that's no easy task.
