List of Gagan S Chadha's Reviews
I have been seeing Dr. Chadha for many years now. He has taken good care of me at every step, including in some challenging medical and personal situations, including a significant recent COVID condition. I feel I can rely on his clinical judgement. He is very easy to talk to, and is supportive of my needs as a patient.
Excellent and very caring. Thorough in his exams and never rushes you out of his office. Best care ever.
I agree with the review of "Esther". Dr. Chadha is an amazing physician. My review is also not about him, but about his answering/nurse service. The answering service in Dr. Chadha's office is terrible; they never respond on time. Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, in the early months of 2020, I had worse experiences. I had visited doctor's office in February 2020 and had to wait for more than one hour, just to have the nurse come to the front desk and attend me. Later (even today) I had so many ordeals with them. I have kept Dr. Chadha as primary physician after moving out of West Lafayette and living 1 hour 30 minutes far away, just not to loose a good doctor. But every time I talk or reach to his office/nursing staff, my experience gets bitter. This was not the situation until last year. Sorry doctor, probably it's time for me and many of your loyal patients to move to other doctor, unless you can change your office staff. I will be happy to provide more details to Dr. Chadha directly if he wishes to get in touch with me.
The Best doctor in the area. Very satisfied and impressed!
My family has seen Dr Chadha for 15 years and have been very happy with his compassionate and professional service. He is honest and thorough and does not rush. He answers all questions and his recommendations are very helpful. His staff is friendly and professional.
Dr Chadha has been my primary care physician for over a decade and I hope he will remain so for the rest of my life. A friend recommended me to him when I had had a disappointing encounter with another doctor in town. He impressed me from my first visit and continues to do so every time I see him. He is the gentlest, kindest, best informed, careful and thorough doctor one could hope to have. He is also clear and succinct in his explanations and is willing to give his patients all the time they need. He is a superb and patient listener. And he seems to love his job. Very highly recommended.
Dr. Chadha is an amazing doctor. He is very kind, very understanding and very sympathetic. This review is not for him! This is for his answering service. I understand that there is a global pandemic and with the shortening of office hours, it can be pretty difficult for the office staff to answer every call and help each patient. I have called a total of 11 times since August 26. Only one of these calls was answered by the office staff, and I was able to get one of my prescriptions filled. I actually needed two of them filled but I wasn't upset, because I know things are pretty chaotic right now. So I called again almost every week during work hours to get the second prescription filled and 10 of these calls went straight to the answering service. During most of these calls, I explained that I desperately need my medication (asthma) because I was feeling sick and breathless. Each time we actually spoke, they asked me for the same information and said they would relay this to the front office. It is now October 15th and I still don't have my prescription filled. Then I get told today that it could be because I haven't had a doctors visit recently. If this was the case, why was I not notified in AUGUST? Why have I been left in the dark this entire time? I could've resolved this issue by now. I'm not sure if there is a major disconnect between the answering service and front office staff, but I am so incredibly frustrated with this situation that I'm seeking a new health care provider.
I went to Dr. Chadha for an annual physical. He performed unnecessary tests and charged my visit as diagnostics rather than preventative. I clearly scheduled my visit as preventative and didn't have any symptoms and new diagnosis during this visit. But, still he charged my visit as diagnostics and i had to pay for the visit and unnecessary lab tests he performed. I have high deductible insurance and have to pay for the diagnostic visit from my pocket. My preventative visit would have been 100% covered by the insurance. It is also very difficult to schedule an appointment with him. His office staff never returns your call. I called to schedule an appointment and was told that they will call me back to schedule an appointment, but i never received a call. This was my last visit with Dr. Chadha, i will move to other doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
