Dr. Mccuaig is an amazing doctor he sat with me and answered all my questions and explained everything to me very well, he made sure I understood what was being done and what needed to be done, He put a plan together in moving forward to make sure I am taking care of with my health issues, I cannot thank him and his staff enough for being such an awesome team, they were all very welcoming friendly and made me feel extra comfortable. Thank you for being such a wonderful TEAM!!!😊
I saw Dr. McCuaig a couple years ago and have spent those years mulling over just how bad the experience was. He asked what I was studying in school (government), made a joke about a running candidate and said he hoped I wasn’t supporting them (I was). Discouraged many birth control options. Told me my pcos was gone (it wasn’t and there’s no way he could have deduced that at that point). I came in to talk about pain during penetrative sex. He told me that my partners might be too big for me?? I had been with the same one partner for years. My concerns were valid and should have been addressed as such. He also was adamant that I be vigilant about diabetes despite recent blood tests showing normal levels. I never went back to him and this experience held me back from seeking out another obgyn for a while. While he might be a good obgyn for someone, I certainly don’t recommend anyone who is wary/nervous of obgyn’s to see him because his bedside manner was atrocious and belittling.

He told me that my partners might be too big for me?? I had been with the same one partner for years. My concerns were valid and should have been addressed as such. These symptoms I experience could literally be cancerous and anyone with an inkling of reproductive health knowledge is aware of how these things can creep up. While he might be a good obgyn for someone, I certainly don’t recommend anyone who is wary/nervous of obgyn’s because his bedside manner was insulting and belittling. I truly felt judged the entire time for a number of things: right off the bat my political beliefs, implication I was promiscuous???, not listened to about my existing medical condition or the numerous reproductive health symptoms I was having that he believed to be normal, the focus on diabetes which I assume is because I had gained weight in a short amount of time, the COMPLETE disregard for any birth control options I wanted to discuss. I felt defeated while there. The best thing was when he had asked a female medical professional to step in the room, I’m assuming because he could tell just how uncomfortable I was.
Dr. McCuaig is my gyn. He was recommended by my internist. I have found him to be very patient centered, understanding of my particular health needs, and helpful in assisting me in continuing a healthy life style.
Great Man who cares alot about his patients and family!
All of the many times that I have had to wait for Joel, he dismisses me as a patient, because he can't keep an appointment....go figure. Also, wants to charge me $50 for a copy of my own medical records, but, if I tell them who my new Doctor wii be, they will forward them at no charge!!!!
If you are interested in natural birth you probably want to avoid Dr. McCuaig.
To make a long & painful story short & sweet. I was sent to Dr. McCuaig by my family Dr.after an ultrasound came back with questions. I knew ...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
