I saw him the first time today. He showed me my x-rays and explained it all to me. He explained injections and if that does not work, he then can go in and relieve pain by injection at the nerves and would relief the pain. He said about every 6 months it would have to be redone. He would not be able to give me Tramadol, due to other drugs I am taking. I am not wanting to take narcotics. He said they are there to help relieve my pain and for me to have better quality of life.

A referral was sent to Pain Specialist, Dr. Akmal. The referral was sent the 13th or 14th of November. Dr. Akmal approved based on the information on the referral to go ahead and schedule a blood patch for November 19th, 2020. However when I arrived to my appointment, Dr. Akmal, who agreed to do the procedure, began doubting my symptoms just like the anesthesiologists at labour and delivery, but said he would call Dr. Khan over the phone and if Dr. Khan still believes I need the treatment, that he would continue on to perform it. This just upset me that my symptoms are being questioned, which brought back memories of me having to beg the anesthesiologists to help me back from labour and delivery. My procedure time was scheduled for 8;45...that soon turned to 9;00, then finally 10:00. At this point I felt my time was being wasted, because my referral was put in the week before, he cancelled my procedure because I voiced my opinion. Then lied to the head of the facility!

Doctor is highly intrusive and asks too many personal questions. Doctor is extremely inflexible regarding medications and emergency circumstances. This young man is arrogant and does not treat his elders with proper respect.

He saved my son's life. He listened to what was going on and then he said that my son had a false diagnosis, and then he saved his life by recomendind a surgery that we did.

No empathy or concern for your problems. Ignored me when asking for a orthopedic Dr. He will rush you into getting injections because that is where the $ is. WILL NOT fill out paperwork for your Social Security Disability it's their "policy" , don't waste your time here!
