office staff and nurses are all amazing! actually see doc at appointment time!

I'm writing this review because I was a little concerned about the lobby experience. For other doctor visits I've had since the pandemic, I have had to call in advance, answer a questionnaire, and then get my temperature checked before entering the building. I tried to call in advance to let the office know I had arrived, but there was no answer so I decided to just walk in. Signage is posted requiring masks along with diagrams for proper mask wearing, which is good. When I arrived, they had a clean and dirty pen cup at the front desk and I was simply asked to sign in and have a seat. No temp check or questions. There were quite a few patients in the waiting lobby. We all sat as far apart as we could, but it got a little full in the room. One man was coughing pretty hard.Other than that, the wait wasn't too bad and every interaction with staff and the doctor was great. The cardiologist was very thorough, reassuring, and made me feel better about being there. I just wanted people to be aware about the lobby in case they are higher risk and need to make special accommodations or something like that.

Very personable staff; Dr. Ammar is caring & knowledgeable. I appreciate that he takes time to listen to your concerns and explains in a way that’s understandable.

Dr. Choudhry is a wonderful Doctor. He is very caring and compassionate.He goes above and beyond for his patients. I highly recommend anyone needing a cardiologist to go see him.

My wife and I are both patients.  We cant say much about the office staff as weve had very little interaction with them.  But we have no complaints.  However Denver who assists Dr. Ammar is sharp and on the ball.  We love her.  Dr. Ammar is also fantastic.  He is personable thorough and takes time to really listen to his patients.  My wife an I are both nurses.  Weve had interactions with numerous cardiologists both professionally and personally.  We give Dr. Ammar four thumbs up.

VERY POOR receptionists and scheduling services at HeartPlaceAllen. Wait time TWICE was over an hour. Dr. Choudhry is very full of himself talks too much and talked over me He interrupted me several times and had a poor demeanor. At one point neither of the two receptionists were at the front desk. Another patient also waiting in line said to all in ear shot I guess they forgot we were here. Another patient in the waiting room said that they were waiting an hour yesterday and were waiting another hour today. Clear mismanagement of the office staff. They seemed inept and unable to resolve simple scheduling issues. They did not seem to have any care for the patients who are the paying customers. His colleague Richard Ammar acted like a thug Just AWFUL.

Their schedule....late very late. Doctor when you see him is good. But late. Do what I am doing. Go elsewhere

I had a great experience. Wait time was less than 10 minutes. The staff was professional and courteous. The doctor asked  questions listened to my concerned and recommended treatment. All in all I couldnt be happier with the way I was treated.

My mother has been a patient of Dr Choudhry for years.  We LOVE him  He is thorough and funny  Sometimes the wait is a little bit long if they are trying to fit in patients around some of his time off but normally the wait is minimal.
