I had to have eye surgery when I was three in order to correct strabismus. While I don't remember anything other than a nurse before surgery, according to my parents he explained everything very well: from what exactly was wrong with my eyes to the play-by-play of the procedure. Come surgery day, everything went off without a hitch, and in the coming years my vision continually improved. Nowadays I don't need glasses at all, and every doctor I've been to is in awe at how well the procedure was done and the minimal scarring I was left with. In fact, most of them had no idea a surgery had taken place before I told them! While I no longer live in Leavenworth, myself and my family would happily return to his practice for any future surgical needs, and we cannot recommend him enough.

My wife visited Dr. Reifschneider and cannot speak highly enough regarding her exam and consultation. She states that it was the BEST and most thorough eye exam she has EVER had in her life. As a post-chemo patient, Dr. Reifschneider paitently explained her conditions, preventative measures, and treatment options. Thank you for providing OUTSTANDING care. We will never go anywhere else!! Dr Reifschneider opened his office on a Saturday to treat my eye emergency. He explained my situation clearly and what needed to be done. His follow up care over the ensuing week was excellent. All of the staff; reception, assistants, and the Doctor were friendly, kind, caring, and professional.

Just completed cataract surgery in both eyes. I loved the service the staff provided. All are very knowledgeable. Dr. Reifschneider was very informative with every step of the process. I highly recommend him to anybody else in need of any eye care.
