I went in to the ER for a UTI and this doctor didn't know ANYTHING about me. He knew ,immediately, that I was also battling smas literally by my posture. He understood exactly what was happening! He sent me to another doctor which hopefully will "save" me. Dr. Slomka passed ZERO judgment and showed true compassion. He literally made me internally emotional because he is the ONLY doctor (in 13 yrs) who understood EXACTLY what I'm dealing with ?.

I saw Dr Slomka in the ER at Hutchinson on 8/31/22. He was extremely thorough and kind. He discovered I had been prescribed too much of a medicine which was causing me extreme side affects. I am so appreciative he was there to help me. Excellent doctor.

Took my father to Dr. Slomka because my father was losing his short term memory. She referred us to Dr. Witmer and that’s all she did stating that a medication for his memory may interfere with his heart medication. We came back to see Dr. Witmer, he looked in a book, and prescribed my father the much needed medication. We get the bill in the mail and the hospital charged us much more for Dr. Slomka visit than Dr. Witmer....the lady in charge of finances tried to tell me it was for “seeing a doctor”...we did not go to merely see a doctor, we went for much needed medication. Society has become one that expects money for nothing...so beware...

I went to the ER at Hutchinson Regional and Slomka saw me. Afterwards I get a bill for over $1500!! He is 'out of network' so insurance only paid a VERY small fraction of that bill. This Dr. should be ashamed of how he is scamming people!!!! Charging more than 5 times normal charges.

DR. Slomka saw my wife at the emergency room in at the Hutchinson regional Medical center. We received a bill for over 5 times the normal industry amount charged. I went to my in network provider and an out of network DR. waited on her. I talked to the Dr.'s billing agency and they told me there was nothing they could do and I would have to pay the entire bill. Someone should of told us at the time that the Dr. would charge an excessive rate for the services.
