I have been a patient for about 10 years, and generally see him once a year unless I'm having some problems. He is very attentive, a good listener, very methodical and analytical. He has over 35 years of experience as a Cardiologist and draws on that knowledge to help his patients. I think he is very capable and I trust his judgements. I have done well under his care. I know I can always get an appointment quickly if necessary.

I went to this Dr. last year for heart palpitations. They were around 1% but significantly increased around a year later to about 20% intermittently during the day, every day,but constant at night. When I went back he was dismissive,reluctant to order a heart monitor although he did relent and order one. For the two days I had on the monitor my heart calmed down,which was a fluke considering the every day issues I was having. When I went back for the follow up the Dr. did not have my results ready and when he read them it came back with low heart palpitations. I'm not upset with the results or even dispute them. What annoys me is that he dismissed my account out of hand and did not even bother to attempt to find out why I was having these increased palpitations. He offered no recourse for when they returned and he told me not to come back for the heart palpitations, he basically abandoned me.

I went to Dr. Youssefi last year for heart palpitations. He was thorough and ordered a stress test and echocardiogram. He found around a 1% PVC arrhythmia. He explained some issues with my heart,my weight and gave me a plan. Next year my palpitations significantly increased so I went back. He was dismissive, was reluctant to order a heart halter. My heart had been palpitating at about 20% at night and at various times of the day. During the time I wore the monitor for some reason my heart decided to calm down and when I went back for my next appointment I showed only a .4% PVC rate. I'm not upset with the test results, I understand them, my heart had two good days. The issue is that this doctor did not even have my results ready when I came and only spent 5 minutes reviewing them before giving me the results and he told me not to come back to him for the palpitations. He basically abandoned me. He never even attempted to address why my heart may have had these spotty increases.
