Dr. Baumgardner's office is completely unprofessional. No one knows what is going on or who to contact. This has been the case throughout our numerous contacts and appointments with them. After a diagnosis we were given very little information. We were told to call back any time with questions. We were also told to call back in 14 days after we had been on a new medicine, so the Dr. could increase the dosage with a new prescription, as we were only given a limited supply of meds. Over the last week we have left numerous messages on their answering machine with no response from the Dr. or anyone in her office. We actually did get a live voice one time and were assured they would call us back. That was three days ago. It is very frustrating, as I am sure we will have to start over with the lower dose of medicine again.

Uncaring , condescending and just cold. No compassion or empathy when she was handing out an Alzheimers dx.

She was very intelligent, answered all of our questions, took her time and was not at all rushed. I really felt at ease with her and comfortable. very pleasant experience.

If you want to find out your Dad has Alzheimer's through a phone call from the nurse, use her. Then when you're confused, horrified and have 100 questions 0 of them can be answered. Next you get figure out a way to tell him the news, and again have no answers. Thanks for that experience Doc, sure won't be one I forget.

I agree with the reviewer that she lacks luster. She didn't seem to care about my symptoms because of age & I didn't fit exactly into her 'box'. My diagnosis have never been easy to come up with & require a dr. Who is willing to think which Dr. Baumgartner didn't seem to want to do.

Lack luster bedside manner. Comes off as condescending and altogether didn't appear that she's interested in helping people. Would not recommend. We waited over 45 minutes to see her.

I would not hesitate in recommending Dr. Baumgardner to anyone that is having issues with Alzheimer's or Dementia. We saw her yesterday 2/9/17 and she sat down and took the time to go over everything and answer any questions that we had. She also recommended having some bloodwork and further tests that no other Dr. that has been seen here has recommended to find out what truly is going on. I would HIGHLY recommend this Dr. to anyone with Dementia/Alzheimer's diagnosis!
