What a joke of a Doctor? Didn’t do anything for me but want to run down Wound care of Pittsburg and me. At least they try every week to heal my wounds unlike him. Special doctor that didn’t do anything.

Dr. Blacho was nice but I was just another face in the crowd. Seemed rushed and didn't have time to answer questions. Place is clean and the visit was much quicker than the wait. Front desk lady was a bit snooty and after waiting 30min I asked about my appointment and was told the Dr was running 30-45min behind. Thanks for letting me know when I checked in. Overall, I would recommend someone else.

Dr. David Blancho, Mercy, Galena. Is an excellent podiatrist located at mercy in galena, KS. He performed a really difficult surgery on my foot & & I was 100% satisfied! He is kind & compassionate! I highly recommend him if you are in need of an excellent surgeon. He is a fantastic!

I was extremely pleased with Dr. Blancho’s surgery on my foot. He absolutely knows exactly what needs to be done & is very good at what he does! I highly recommend him to anyone needing surgery on the foot. He is a very skilled surgeon!

Went to my first appointment for a Jones fracture and he came in and said surgery or give it 6 weeks to see if it will heal and we decided to give it 6 weeks to heal. Went for my second appt. 6 weeks later. He walked in room asking question like I was a new patient. I had to point out I was there for recheck and surgery consult if not healing. He did not look at my chart which is concerning as I have a serious genetic disorder and there are many things that doctors can do that can kill me. Then he told me he wanted to see me in 6 more weeks as it is not healing. He wants me non weight bearing which is impossible due to my mother mobility issues caused by genetic condition. He told me "You don't work" twice as justification for making me go 6 more weeks. But did not ask of I live alone (I do which means that I have to do laundry, sweep/mop floors, etc...) Very ableist to assume I can go 14-18 weeks not bearing any weight before having surgery and then devote 6 more weeks to not bearing weight when I do not have supports to go that long all because I am disabled and do not work. And again he did not look at my chart before seeing me. I do not recommend him. Although I am forced to continue with him as a doctor. I can get assistance for 6 weeks pre Op but I cannot expect my friends to put in 18 weeks of assistance to see if it heals and then 6 more weeks for surgery recovery.
