I wanted to wait to eave a review, until I had more experience with Dr. Herndon and Dr. Heflin. I had a previous experience with Dr. Casanova, that left me bed ridden for almost 50 days. Dr. Heflin took the time to listen to my concerns and irrational thinking. He , through his amazing bedside manner, talked me into an injection and then an epidural. My body didn't handle the injections well. Dr.Herndon, was so ptiney with my emotions and apprehensiveness. I agreed to the suggested epidural because of the amazing treatment I got. Today couldn't have gone better. This epidural I got today, only confirms that whatever was done to me before, shouldn't have happened. It absolutely could have been prevented.

I was recently sent to see Dr Herndon by the VA to be evaluated for my 2 Neuro stimulators to be removed from the misplacement that was done in a previous surgery by their own Dr Graham. He examed me and looked at the x-rays available. He was unable to view the prior surgeries notes or X-rays done at their own facility. He then informed my husband and I that he would not feel comfortable doing the surgery as he thought my case was complicated. We appreciated his honesty at the time. He assured us he would be contacting a surgeon who would be able to help me. I have been suffering for almost 3 years with constant vibration in my lower back and down my legs since Dr Graham placed the stimulators on a nerve. I waited 2 weeks for a call and nothing. So I called his office to be informed the surgeon that he called a couple of times would not return his call. They informed me they would keep trying until they got a response. It has now been almost 3 months and still no word at all. And please explain to me why on earth would one doctor not return a call from another doctor? I know that this surgery and appts needed have all been approved by the VA as they are anxious for me to get relief. I have been very pleased with you guys in the past but this was back when you were Four States. Now that you are governed by Mercy, there is truly no care taken for the patients, no followup and no reason I suppose for the doctors to care either. And to think that I highly recommend you to the VA and other folks I know. I believe this has come to an end for me. I cannot recommend you to anyone anymore.

I've been going to Dr. Hearndon for years and would recommend him. Initially he may come across as standoffish but he really does care about his patients.

Don't waste your time on this jerk I was warned how he was and I regret ever going to him I had back pain and went to him for steroid injections I'm in more pain now than before and his office staff is very rude trust me you don't want this guy to do anything to you the only positive in this is that the staff in the surgery center are wonderful to bad Ortho 4stae has him he is a joke
