List of Robert F. Stringer's Reviews
Dr. Stringer was pleasant and thorough. By excellent listening and discernment, he diagnosed a related but different problem than that for which I was being seen. He is not quick to recommend surgery as a first course of action, but, where it makes sense, offers conservative treatments first. I appreciate that!
Worst doctor I have ever went to. Went in for my broken shoulder which was broke in 2 places and told me to go to someone else. He wouldn t even make eye contact with me. Avoid this worthless excuse of a doctor at all costs!!
Dr Stringer is a fantastic doctor. He is always on time he is very personable and very knowledgeable. I have known several people that have had their knees replaced and they have not had any difficulty during recovery or after recovery. I highly recommend Dr Stringer to anyone that is having difficulties with their knees and need therapy or replacement.
Sadly, feedback of incomplete work and mistreatment of the elderly.
He is an excellent Surgeon. Personable and answers your question so you understand it.
Dr. Stringer, his nurse practitioner, nurses, MRI and X-Ray techs, and his staff were all very professional, kind, and helpful. Dr. stringer was thorough and took care of my medial meniscus injury with arthroscopic surgery. My knee felt better than it had in months the day after surgery and continues feeling great just four days out! Thank you to Dr. Stringer and his team of professionals! My experience could not have gone more smoothly.
Dr. Stringer was not helpful to my husband at all. He had an an MRI that confirmed that he had a bad acl with a cyst on the acl. Doctor wanted to do physical therapy which made it worse. When my husband told him I m trying to work with you doc but physical therapy isn t helping. Dr. Stringer replied well I m trying to work with you but there is nothing I can do for you. and acted like he was going to walk out of the exam room. Very unprofessional. Two more professional opinions and he has to have the surgery. The cyst is not normal.
Dr. Stringer listened to every detail my husband spoke without interruption. Dr. Stringer explained in detail the issues found on my husband's x-rays and laid out a treatment plan that my husband fully agreed to. Dr. Stringer is not the first doctor we have seen, but he is the only one who listened, explained fully, and that made us feel secure in our decision.
Dr. Stringer performed a right shoulder replacement mainly to relieve pain, but after having physical therapy which was not started for four weeks after surgery in order to give the shoulder time to heal. I have been amazed at how much motion that I have now, in addition to lack of constant pain. I would definitely refer anyone to see Dr. Stringer.
Dr. Stringer has been my Orthopedic Surgeon for the past 26+ years. He is very professional, genuinely cares for his patients as individuals, clearly defines options, and guides his patients to help them achieve the best quality of life. He is not just another doctor to our family - he is a real care-giver.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
