Wichita & the surrounding areas that Dr. Weishaar serves is very blessed to have him here. Dr. Weishaar helped me through several difficult eye emergencies. He saved my vision on at least 2 occasions and is the most kind & compassionate doctor I’ve ever seen.

This doctor was just great; his personality was such that I felt comfortable immediately. We laughed the whole time but he was serious when it came to my eyes. The male nurse/assistant was also very nice and answered all our questions. Everyone in the downstairs area were great. One receptionist upstairs was snippy but others were very nice. Thank you!

We cant thank you enough for your help with my husband his cataracts where bad and you was able to fix both eyes by fixing his new lenses by sewing them , my husband now has a gift he never dreamed of good eye sight, you when above and beyond calling me checking on him before surgery and arranging eye pressure check on a Sunday before his surgery on a Monday, I can never thank you enough for all that you done for my husband ,your a true hero ,many blessing Rose Richter

Had I written this review 5 years ago, I would have said that Dr. Weishaar had a horrible bedside manner, did not take much time with us, and the wait time in the waiting room was ridiculous. After my first visit, I did, in fact, call my opthalmologist & asked to be referred to someone else. The nurse told me that she had previously worked for him & that he could be quite gruff, but to please stick with him. I did. Though I still don't understand the long times in the waiting room, I am so glad I stuck it out. My glaucoma was uncontrolled & I was referred yet again to a KC, KS doctor, who did a surgery on me. Since then, I have continued my follow-ups with Dr. Weishaar and am very pleased with his services. His bedside manner has improved dramatically. Not only does he answer questions for me, he has listened to a couple of suggestions I have made & agreed with me. Thoroughly impressed with his level of skill. I have learned that first impressions are not always accurate impressions! If you want the best, stick with Dr. Weishaar!

I have seen Dr. Weishaar for a time now. He truly stays on task with my condition and answers my questions so I understand. I have total trust in his care. He and his staff communicate with each other as well as me so I feel completely at ease. Amazing considering how busy they arae.

Yes - - he is always running late for his appointments - but - oh my goodness - the man really knew his job. Would recommend him to everyone....and they did fit me in less than 2 weeks as a new patient!

this doctor does not explain what the problem is . He talks to his assistants not the patient. He never spends more than ten minutes with me. Rushes into the room , rushes out.
