List of Kim Nichols's Reviews
I have never been treated by a professional the way I was treated by Dr. Kim Nichols. I received two treatments at this location under the advisement of Dr. Nichols. For both treatments, I didn’t get the results that I was looking for, however, I wasn’t upset about the results, nor was I pointing fingers or pointing blame to the practice. All I was doing was reaching back out to Dr. Nichols for her advice and consultation on how to handle next steps. However, after I came in for the second treatment consultation, she was extremely rude to me. She told me the reason I do not have the results I want is because of my “budgetary constraints” which is untrue and classist. And then she proceeded to tell me that since I am unhappy with the results I am getting from her that I should find another doctor. I was extremely thrown off by this response and upset because I buy my skin care products from them, I buy vitamins from them and I absolutely love their staff, their aesthetician and love to go in for facials. I never pointed fingers or blame or asked for free additional treatments, I was just seeking professional advice. And instead of professional consultation and advice, Dr. Kim Nichols instead was judgmental, rude, dismissive and classist. When I was leaving the practice after this upsetting interaction, she made sure to come out of her office to let me know which way the exit was. I have never been treated this way by anyone. Very disappointing. I do not recommend. Go somewhere else where you will be respected as a valued customer. The stars are for the staff.
Dr. Nichols largely does cosmetic procedures as noted, but she has been great treating my daughter with acne. I have been seeing her for years for filler/Botox - these treatments are expensive but I always receive a quote beforehand so I can decide. While she may offer some appropriate Skinseutical products, she is more than willing to talk to you about drugstore brands. She has a light touch, so I don't feel "overdone," and she and her staff always respect my decisions about what treatment and or products I want - no pressure.
I am a former patient of Dr. Nichols. I was being treated for a skin condition. During every visit, I always felt rushed by her, she didn't listen to my concerns at all and was usually very condescending when she spoke. She prescribed pharmaceuticals based on what worked for her other patients instead of giving me an individualized prescription based on my own unique needs. She had even prescribed a scalp oil that had peanut oil but didn't ask if I was allergic to peanuts. I was her patient for a few years and my condition became worse. When I switched to another doctor who worked at the same practice as Dr. Nichols, the doctor was the polar opposite of Dr. Nichols. She took the time to listen, answered all of my questions, and changed all of my prescriptions that Dr. Nichols had previously written. Within a few months, I noticed a considerable and consistent difference. My current doctor was able to do in a few months what Dr. Nichols couldn't do in a few years. Dr. Nichols only seems interested in pushing expensive procedures and prescriptions instead of actually helping her patients.
My daughter struggled with acne since she was 12. After visiting a local dermatologist for 2 years my teenager was just frustrated at the lack of improvement. At 14 we sought out Doctor Nichols. Her knowledge of skin conditions and acne in teens is impressive. Although her services are pricey, they worked wonders on my daughter. Skin is an investment. Her skin is clear and bright with only the occasional blemish. It has greatly improved my daughter's self-esteem regarding her skin. A rating.
I had the opportunity to have SECRET RF with Katie French PA. It was absolutely painless and I am so excited about the results. I cannot wait for my next treatment. Dr. Nichols and her staff are absolutely the best. I read reviews on Secret RF and was concerned about the numbing cream and pain. Shantay was awesome applying the numbing cream. Absolutely no pain. Katie French - PA was absolutely amazing, considerate and kept asking if I was ok. I love Dr Nichols and her entire staff. I recommend everyone to NIchols MD.
Dr Nichols and her staff are very professional and knowledgeable on skin care today. Love all the services and the results are amazing.
PLEASE BEWARE OF NICHOLSMD, 50 Old Field Road, Greenwich, CT A good friend gifted me a certificate for my birthday to NICHOLSMD for a facial. I thought it would be an ideal time to also get some injectable filler and some botox. Without researching their background or reviews, I made my appointment. There is a mandatory $325.00 consultation fee. However I knew exactly what procedure I wanted done and didn't need a consultation. Their consultation consisted of trying to aggressively sell facial products. And that was just the beginning. NICHOLSMD charges by the area and not on how many units or syringes. That's fine when you promise to fill those areas correctly but if you need more to fill the area she will charge you an absurd additional fee. I made my appointment with Dr. Kim Nichols but instead Katie, the Physicians Assistant was there to greet me and performed the procedures. She injected Botox into my forehead lines, 11's and crows feet. Katie explained that I would look great if we also did my jawline and cheekbones. That was a hefty add on to the bill. I agreed and was excited to make this investment in my appearance and feel refreshed. As Katie proceeded to do my jawline she stuck the needle of Radiesse into my jaw bone, I saw stars and now my teeth on the bottom right side hurt. When I jumped out of my seat and told her she shrugged it off. After Katie was done, I was escorted to another room to pay my bill. Without giving me a final total, I was asked for my credit card. I was charged without a receipt being offered. When I asked for my receipt I saw it was more than the amount I had anticipated. It gets worse! I wake up the next day and my son wants to know why my lips are crooked. I go out to dinner the night after and the restaurant owner who is a good friend of mine wants to know what I did to my face because he said it looks terrible. I look in the mirror and my right eye brow is a half inch higher then the left. I call the office three times to speak with Dr. Nichols. She was always too busy, to speak with me. Finally I receive a call back from the physicians assistant (not from the doctor to who I wish to speak with). She advised me to let it settle for a little and come back in a week. I showed up a week later and she acknowledges that my lips are crooked and my eyebrow is indeed higher. She pacified me with a little Botox and sends me on my way. I remain disappointed by the lack of any discernible improvement. My lips are turned downward now which makes me look as though I’m frowning all the time and my lips are still thin. I also have a lump an each side of my jaw where she injected. So again I called them for another appointment to explain these issues. Finally Dr. Nichols came into the room already defensive and rude. She said my expectations were too high and if I was not satisfied then “I can make a right out of the room and there’s the door”. For $5,200.00 I do expect to see a good results. This establishment profits from their disappointing standards, leaving the patient with little recourse except to exit.

This has been one of the most unprofessional medical practices I have ever dealt with throughout my years. I scheduled a first appointment for my teen daughter , which the office called the day prior to inform me that the appointment needed to be rescheduled for the following week because Dr. Nichols needed to leave early. Now I received another call today canceling the rescheduled appointment because Dr, Nichols needs to leave early again. Just wasted two weeks! So unprofessional!
On the recommendation from a friend, I made an appointment to see Nichols MD of Greenwich. If you want to be impressed by a dermatologist and boutique care for beautiful skin visit here. Dr. Nichols is professional, friendly and attentive. She made me feel very comfortable. I was concerned about the damage to my skin from years of sun worshipping. Upon her recommendation, I opted to have Micro -Needling with PRP.. I have had 3 treatments to my face, neck and decollete with Katie, the PA in the office. My skin looks absolutely amazing and has completely been transformed. I would recommed this treatment to everyone. Not only has the texture improved it looks flawless. Katie is professional, compassionate and conscientious. You are always greeted with her beautiful smile and energized calm personality. After every treatment, not only did I receive a follow-up call from Katie but they were even on a Saturday!!! I then opted for Sculptra with Dr. Nichols. The results are absolutely amazing. I would recommend either of these treatments for those of you who wish to avoid drastic treatments. This is well worth my 4-hour round trip. If your goal is to feel energized, beautiful and healthy then visit here. LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Nichols and her team. Thank you !!!
