Xpress Wellness Urgent Care- Haysville's Online Review Report Card

Scheduling online was really nice and easy, so that's the two stars. I took my daughter in after she fell and refused to stand or walk on her right foot for five hours. Seems like a reasonable concern, and even though I knew it wasn't broken, I'm not a doctor...so I wanted a doctor's opinion. Vanessa (a doctor? PA? Who knows...she didn't introduce herself and isn't on the website) was rude and dismissive. Her apathetic body language and tone of voice made it clear that she didn't believe my child was in pain. She pointed out that she was wiggling her toes as if to disprove her injury even though I explained that her pain wasn't with movement, it was upon standing. The X-rays showed nothing abnormal, which I expected, and to hear there's no injury is great news. I expressed that it may be a strain and she pushed around on her foot and said "She's fine. There's no injury." She seemed much more interested in making me feel ridiculous than expressing any empathy or helping in any way: suggesting pain relief, suggesting a possible cause of the pain, expressing any understanding of why I'd be concerned. Finally, she bribed my daughter with a sucker to get her to walk, during which she moaned each step, and ended the visit with "See, mom? She's fine." Thanks a lot for the compassion and sorry to have taken you away from scrolling on your phone at your station. It was my understanding that we should seek the help of those who know more than us, especially for our children's sake. My daughter and I should've been met with compassion, instead of a professional trying to disprove us and act like my daughter is faking an injury or something. She's not been playing all day, and she's 2. I highly doubt that's for attention, or whatever else she may have believed our motive was? Really wanted to like this place, but instead I found yet another doctor who is careless and condescending to young mothers and their children.

I got right in... Two minutes of paperwork... 1 minute of waiting...5 with the nurse, stats, history, etc. 1 minute until Mrs. Edison came in. Through our conversation we through my background and discussed my options. Had short term and long term decisions made in 10 minutes. IF YOU NEED SHORT TERM OR LONG TERM MEDICAL CARE MY SUGGESTION IS YOU MAKE THIS YOU FIRST AND ONLY STOP. THE STAFF AND MRS JENNIFER EDISON IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. SMILES, WARMTH, HELPFUL UNDERSTANDING & MOST OF ALL THEY ALL CARE FROM THE RECEPTIONIST TO THE NURSE TO MRS. EDISON. IT'S SUNDAY, THE DAY AFTER MY APPOINTMENT AND I HAVE RELIEF FROM MY PAIN. FIRST OFFICE WILLING TO LISTEN AND FOLLOW THROUGH IN MONTHS. "THANK YOU LADIES FOR YOU KINDNESS AND BEING ANGELS OF MERCY" !! ❤️🙏

fast and efficient! my son was seen here over the weekend and we were seen within 10 mins from the time we checked in!

This was a life saver. Needed to have my son seen on a Sunday. I did not want to go wait long hours at the er. We went over and was seen and out within an hour. The staff was extremely nice, we sat outside so my son didn’t have to wear a mask due to coughing. Our choice for the mask nor a request from the facility also nice. They came right out and got us. The facility was clean as well. We will be going here again if I’m need.

Scheduling and online paperwork was easy! Friendly staff! Clean and efficient!

It was great. In and out. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Will go back.
