Oh and your 30.00 room rental almost sounds illegal in a way. if fsa won't cover it it has to be questionable. great outreach program (not) I'm using TopekaUpdate them and med farm redeemed themselves during the pandemic from one star to 5
My husband was in respiratory distress, almost failure, the staff was incredible. They saved his life. He was lifeflighted to St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. The work continued on with more excellent dr.’s.
Went in with the fear that I was miscarrying. I was taken back as soon as I came in, they made extra sure I was comfortable. All staff was very kind and accommodating!!! The lady who did my ultrasound was SO KIND!! She let me know as soon as she found the baby that there was a heartbeat, then held my hand as I let tears of relief fall. Thank you to all staff!!!! You are appreciated!
Absolutely the best nursing staff. PT and OT were very helpful. I recently stayed 4 days in the hospital & had great care in a great room. So much better than the large hospitals nearby. Plus the doctors there are willing to take the time to really listen.
During recovery from my recent knee replacement surgery, it seemed that the entire hospital staff went out of their way to make sure that I was completely comfortable and well cared for. Especially with the Covid conditions going on.
I can't tell you how many bills I've paid, only to get the same or a different bill for the same procedure a year or more later.
Holton dental is awesome
I would not take my dead dog to this facility. The standard of care is extremely substandard and that's an exaggeration. The care my mother received was atrocious at best . Horrible medical care! No communication between nursing staff and physicians office. We were told one thing by the hospital staff and something completely different by office staff. Can't get ahold of attending physician because he has conveniently left on vacation after 3 requests for a phone call from him. No return call. Their standard of care consists of keeping them overnight and sending them home with pills (opiates).PILL MILL!.
Terrible about getting back with return calls. Currently stressing about what I'm going to do beings that the idiot nurse practitioner I saw YESTERDAY DIDNT FAX MY RELEASE TO WORK AND THEY HAPPEN TO BE CLOSED TODAY. Oh they better hope I don't lose my job to their negligence. I saw her at eleven then a little after noon I brought in a separate form for her to fill out fax the same day to my job. Couldn't even do that much.
In April of 2018, our son was severely injured during a sporting event. We rushed him to Holton ER, where the care was AMAZING. The Doctor and Nurses were all very professional and went above and beyond to make our son comfortable before he was sent to Topeka..The Occupational Hand Therapist has also been a Godsend for our son, and makes his therapy sessions enjoyable..Thank you Holton Hospital and Staff!
We had a great experience at Holton Community Hospital! They went above and beyond to help take care of my 18 month old son . We went to the hospital for severe dehydration and acute gasteroenteritis in the middle of the night. They got him in quickly and got him hooked up to IV fluids in no time at all. The nurses were so kind and gentle, making something so bad for my son into something that made him feel more comfortable. We were impressed with the great care he received that we would HIGHLY recommend Holton Community Hospital. Dr. Erin Locke was so personable but professional. She talked and explained everything to us to where we understood it. My son just wasn't a number to them, he was more than that. Once he was discharged, they called the next day checking on him and if there was anything we needed. This gesture meant so much. What hospital does this? We will be back! Thank you so much for the great experience!
Quick, compassion, complete care. Won’t dismiss until they know you are safe to leave or send you where you will be taken care of.
My 2 babies are born in the hospital from the same doctor- Dr Keehn, nice and easy to talk to. Service was awesome and Lab staff is the best!
Walked into the ER area and several people were setting behind the desk chatting(5)....I had to double check if it was the ER or not! Not once did anyone introduce themselves or explain what was happening etc.... AIDET people!! Had to finally ask if we could leave! And to see the "trauma" level they billed us. Others said it was worth it to drive 25+ minutes vs 10. Not so much.
I had my amazing baby boy Ronan on 7-6-17 and this was by far my best birthing experience. We had complications that were completely out of my and the Drs. Hands and they handled each situation professionally and compassionately! My Dr was amazing with everything and the nursing staff went above and beyond to take care for me and my newborn. This is my third c section and they did amazing. I genuinely wish my other two babies had been born at Holton hospital! Every person who we came in contact with were professional and so nice! I am so thankful for the staff at Holton! Especially the nurses and CNA's I could gush all day about even though it was a bit difficult they still did above and beyond! A huge thank you to Dr. Locke and the whole staff!
Several years ago, while visiting family, I contacted Gastroenteritis. My husband drove me to the Holton ER. I was seen immediately, and treated accordingly. I received the utmost professional care. I thank you Holton Community Hospital for your great care, and professional staff.
I absolutely love the level of care here. Honest, down to earth, caring people!!!
