List of Kricket Young's Reviews
Took my nearly 3 year old daughter to the office today. She was raised during Covid and has not had a lot of experience outside of the house. She is getting better about new places and things, but the office has been aware through previous visits that she takes time to get comfortable. I expected understanding from a pediatric office when a not-even-three year old starts crying and yelling out of fear. Instead the staff seemed exasperated, fed up, and the doctor even plugged her ears as if screaming kids aren't something to expect in a pediatric office when the child is in an unfamiliar environment. I agree with the other comments that the doctor seems robotic and unconcerned, that the staff are not compassionate, and I left feeling like I was a terrible mother for having a three year old react like a three year old. There was no attempt to give her time to adjust, or to let her relax, they just put her on the chair and began to move it - as if that isn't going to scare her even more. I get they are on a schedule, but if you aren't going to attempt to let the youngest ones have some time to adjust, then focus on servicing kids 5+.
Be careful when dealing with this place. The staff was great at our appointments but I was told I would only have to pay $150 with the type of insurance I had and then got a bill in the mail for over $1700. They said my dental insurance did not take into effect until August 1st but I gave them my new dental insurance before our appt and they did not run it to see if we were covered. I’ve never dealt with any doctor office that did not run our insurance prior to the appt to check for coverage. I did have a different insurance prior but I called them ahead of time and gave them my new insurance info. So now I’m stuck with a 1700 dollar dental bill which is a big difference from 150 dollars that I paid at the time of the appt.
Former patient here, I've always hated going here as a kid. They are so rough and do little to make you more comfortable. I was finally able to change dentists and they found obvious cavities that should have been fixed a while ago, they are setting their patients up for failure. Honestly, if I could give 0 stars I would.
Do not take your kids here - it is incredibly traumatizing and the staff is hateful, unethical, and should never work with children, EVER. I am shocked that this office is still allowed to operate. 0 stars.
Zero stars! Go somewhere else. Dentist will hold down your child with no empathy.
Was not allowed to go back with my kids, told to wait in the waiting room. All my children hated going there and were scared to go. The final straw was when my oldest daughter went in for a regular cleaning and had her mouth propped open and was crying and telling them it hurt her mouth, they told her it wasn’t hurting her and to be quiet. We promptly switched to Essau and all my children now enjoy seeing the dentist.
Zero stars. My son got his teeth capped back in October. Dentist was extremely rude, my son was screaming so bad he was in and out of conciseness. They told me he was only crying because he was being held down. Definitely more than just being held down, he was in pain! Never will be going back to her ever again. She also was very judging about what I feed him and other habits. She definitely needs to retire, she has no business still being a dentist!
A dentist who hides post from parents who just had their kids seen there is no dentist I would recommend! I kn the 2 boys who just went and saw her and had an horrible experience. Hold the child down with forcefully keeping their mouths shut is not ok at all no matter the ages. I kn 15 years ago when I took my boys there they neither one wanted to go back, was so bad then did the free dental clinic after her n both my boys refuse to see a dentist, they would weather have tooth pain till they fall out. Shame on you for deleting a full description of a visit! Just so you all can see what Dr kricket hid from public
Very rude to the children, curses and yells at them!
First things first, the dental hygienist "Deion" was so incredibly rude and unprofessional, told my 5 year old her Boots were cute "but you must have really wanted those for your mom to get those because they are way too big for a little girl like you." They are a 13c, her size. How is that even relevant? I was basically silenced, my daughter was restrained by the staff as she screamed and writhed around. Dr. Young acts like a heartlessly robot. Not even so much as a greeting. Awful bedside manner. There were not any comfort measures that would make this more appealing for children. The chair and equipment was all extremely outdated, the assistants took things off them on a counter then used them again. My daughter was never once asked if she was numb before theybstarted working. As a parent i am horrified that this is what occurs, as a nurse I am thoroughly disgusted. Traumatizing experience. Please do not take your kids here.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
