Great doctor just hard to reach

The first visit or two she seemed genuine and concerned. After that her bedside manner went downhill. The PA was more professional. Seeking a new Rheumatologist.

Misdiagnosed for 5 years- Mayo diagnosed in 1 day! Two expensive work ups and she still could not give me a diagnosis. Spent just a few minutes at follow up visits, seems uninterested in helping patients, possible burnout?

First visit she was very nice and seemed very caring. Second time she was like a different person. She told me there was nothing wrong with me, refused to test me again even though I have real symptoms (joint pain, swelling, etc. ). As I walked out of her room she said “All I can tell you is your going to die one day, just not today”. I am still trying to wrap my head around this......

She saved my life where the diagnosis was missed. She was so proactive in my case...literally walked me down to another specialist and fought my condition, although unpleasant, very aggressively. She's always shown me great compassion abd caring. Sent a whole bunch of friends to her and they feel the same way.

Missed diagnosis for 5 years until Mayo Clinic diagnosed me correctly in 1 day, seems burned out, spends only minutes with patients, does not seem to care about patients any longer, wasted thousands of dollars on incorrect diagnostic workup. Go elsewhere!

Misdiagnosed for 5 years, Mayo diagnosed correctly in 1 day! Cost me thousands of dollars in 2 workups and still could not figure it out, Spent 2 minutes with me last several visits, doesn't seem to care, appears to be burned out.
