List of Julian Magadan Iii's Reviews
I have seen Dr. Magadan 2 times, about 3 yrs apart. The first time was great! He listened to me, explained things well and generally seemed to care. I really liked him. He ended up diagnosing me with fibromyalgia, which to me isn’t really a definitive diagnosis, but I trusted him. When I saw him the second time, I had had a positive ANA test result with Lupus shaped cells that my PC performed. I felt like I was in a flare, so she sent me back to Dr. Magadan. I was having increased pain and felt like that was a good choice to go back to him. When I went for that appointment I felt like I was with a completely different person. For whatever reason he was short with me and didn’t seem to care at all. He said he would order blood work if “I wanted him to.” Well, he’s the doctor! Shouldn’t that be his decision? I ended up saying yes, I wanted the blood work, but it wasn’t done. I conversed online with his nurse and she made me feel stupid, too. I’m still in pain with no answers.
Dr Magadan has a wonderful bedside manner and he is genuinely interested in helping his patients feel better. He is the most caring doctor I’ve seen, and I’ve been to several who dismissed my symptoms because they didn’t know how to help me. He stuck with me until he found what was going on and I’ve been driving for an hour, one way, to see him ever since. I highly recommend him.
Horrible staff. Dr Magadan is nice but if you have anything out of the normal type of questions to ask, he fails to answer. So in 5 or 6 years of trying to make it work, I’ve had it. The nursing staff constantly changes and they are all horrible. Not refilling prescriptions, sending in the wrong prescriptions etc. If you have a question about a medication, you can just forget about getting an answer. Go somewhere else and save yourself years of pain, fear and frustration.
Worked with him for more than a year. He had no way to help with my pain. I am on blood thinners so he had no other options.
So thankful I found Dr Magadan, wish I could give him 10+ stars!! He is a great/caring dr who listens and takes his time to explain diagnosis and treatments. After just 2 weeks on new meds I can already feel the difference!!!
Dr. Magadan saved my life. I have Churgg Strauss with many other auto immune issues. Dr. Magadan is very knowledgable and listens to you one on one. He takes his time with you and explains everything. I would recommend Dr. Magadan to anyone.
Dr. Magadan is a great doctor. While I know that I will probably never be totally be pain-free, this doctor has done more than any other doctor, to improve my quality of life since my pain/health issues started about 11 years ago. I, too, have recommended him to others.
Since I totally loved my Arizona Rheumatologist, I had the bar set pretty high when looking for a new Doctor in this area. I am thrilled to report that Dr. Magadan deserves every one of his 5 stars! I found him to be knowledgeable, personable, and very thorough. He actually LISTENS, as does his pleasant and helpful staff. But, because nobody is rushed through, the office frequently runs behind schedule. So, take your book and know that wait will be worth it!
Most specialist informative, research, & treat. Dr Magadan is a rearity. In addition to being like most he relates to patients, humble, & genuinely care how patient(s) is doing then explains treatment plan with why.
He is the best !!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
