List of Zachary Jacobs's Reviews
This doctor continually has negative feedback removed so beware of artificially high ratings. This doctor caused me more harm than any other combined. He cherry picks - he terminated care after I based on care around him after becoming a long hauler and left me without treatment for at least 4 months. He is never on call and doesn't even take medicaid or medicare. He has almost no ethnic patients - he just wants easy cases. AVOID.
Most uncaring and unkind dr I have ever encountered. Caused me great harm with his ineptitude and discontinuation of care . Cherry picks patients and is at best good for children. Made many medical mistakes and ethical breaches. Will be pursuing him. I would avoid this immunologist at all costs.
Great Doctor
Dr. Jacobs and his nurses have taken excellent care of my son and now daughter who have food allergies. My son went through OIT with Dr. Jacobs for his food allergies and will be starting allergy shots for his environmental allergies.
Dr. Jacobs has taken care of my son’s allergies since he was 3. He is 6 now and is receiving allergy shots. Dr. Jacobs is so good with kids, especially considering allergies can be a stressful thing for a kid to deal with. He’s calm, responsive and consistent. OIT changed our outlook on allergies. So grateful for a doctor who thinks outside the box.
Dr. Jacobs is passionate about his specialty and is confident in his work. He makes us feel at ease with our daughters oral immunotherapy for peanuts. We travel 3 hours to see him and we are so thankful we found him!
Great Doctor gets to bottom of issues and follows through with a plan that works.
I strongly recommend Dr. Jacobs. He is very knowledgeable of what he does. He explains everything clearly. He spends time with me and listen to me and my concerns. He does not try to make you do any tests or shots that you don't need.
I went in for some issues with my lungs and potential allergies causing the issue. Bedside manner is very gentle, almost to the point where I felt he was afraid to "touch" me when checking my neck/throat. First visit 1) an allergy test was done, by the lab techs, read by the lab techs, he was never involved but the test cost $600 after insurance. Yikes. I voiced my concern over this on the follow up and I feel like everything changed. We retested my lungs and they still had inflammation- not normal in an otherwise healthy 40year old. Was told since it was "trending in the right direction" (less inflammation than last time) to continue on the inhaler ($350+ a month- although he did me a coupon to make it $10 for a certain number of refills) but to continue on this inhaler and come back in a YEAR!!!! WTH?? Still presenting with Inflammation, can't figure out the cause after one visit and dismisses me for a year??? I'm guessing either he didn't like that I was frustrated by the cost of the allergy test to tell me I was allergic to cats for $600 OR he didn't have any idea what to do so he pushed me off. I was hoping he was as good as his reviews. Probably great for giving allergy shots to kids but that is about it.
I love Dr. Jacobs! I had a cough during allergy season every year for 6 years. After just 1 visit with him, I was diagnosed with allergic asthma, placed on meds, and the cough was nearly gone within a few days. Within a week, I am feeling so much better.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
