Enjoyed meeting Dr Lyon and all of the staff. A most pleasant experience and we even did an unexpected procedure. First-class people!

Dr David Lyons is an excellent, respected surgeon. I am a very grateful older patient. Because of his excellent surgery...I am able to see better...and I look better....as many people have exclaimed!😉

Dr Lyon is very personable and took the time to explain my situation and I felt relieved that my issue was not serious. Too bad he is retiring in the next couple of years!! His staff was very warm and courteous.

Dr. Lyon is very skilled, knowledgeable, and reassuring. He puts patients at ease as he performs his very delicate procedures. Add his professional skills to his wonderful “bedside manner” and the result is a top of the line member of the medical profession. For those reasons, he has my every confidence. After I recommended him highly to my brother, he chose him for his procedure and was also very satisfied as he totally concurred with my assessment. What more can I say!

Tried to schedule my son who has optic nerve hypoplasia an appointment. Was placed on hold for over 10 minutes. Then I was basically told they didn’t want to see my son Bc he has Tricare. Might possibly be why you have 3 stars? Military members insurance isn’t good enough? Wow!

My daughter sustained a severe eye injury in a mountain biking accident and we thought she was going to lose her eye. I am a surgeon and sent photographs of the eye to a friend who forwarded them to the Chief of Occuloplastic Reconstruction at Harvard. We were ready to get on a plane to try to save her eye. The Harvard oculoplastic said "don't waste the time.... Go see Dr David Lyon in right there in Kansas City". Five hours of surgery later, problem solved and fixed some unfixed problems from the first ophthalmologist. Thank God and Dr. Lyon that my daughter has her sight and the orbital repair and duct reconstruction is working perfectly. There will always be a patient that wants to vent on Google. But you can take it from one surgeon that this is a doctor your can trust with your eyes (or more importantly my own daughter's eye).

Absolutely...my previous ophthalmologist told me that I had dry eyes after I had complained many times my eyes were tearing up all of the time. I got disgusted and sought out another group of ophthalmologists. Dr. Lyon diagnosed the problem on the first visit and I had surgery to correct the issue. I am a very satisfied customer thanks to Dr. Lyon.
