Such a disappointing experience today at Leawood Family care! Not impressed with the staff, the wait times or the care about my issues today. I have been going to this practice for a long time but think it’s time to find a new office! I am done with the rudeness and disrespect!

Called to find a provider for me and my child. I asked what the available doctor’s race OR ethnicity, just to be mindful of another, the receptionist said she didn’t know. I said so you don’t know if she’s white or black, and the receptionist replied “Her skin is black, but I don’t know her ethnicity.” After telling her I also asked for her race not just the ethnicity, there was a ridiculous pause in between and so I hung up. Being a black woman, I didn’t know black was a skin color. There’s different shades of brown if you ask me. So while she was trying to make me feel unjust, she showed me I do not need to go there. Just by conversation. Thanks but NO thanks!

I’m a bit shocked to read the bad reviews. We have been seeing Dr Jordan for over 25 years. Dr Jordan has been at Leawood Family care for 20 years? So we have seen all the doctors many times over the years of raising a family. They have all (with the exception of one not listed here) been fabulous! Of course Dr Jordan is my favorite. But doctors Horton, Christifano, Brack, Winkler are also awesome and I would never hesitate to see any of them. My family of 4 have always received excellent caring care! We have some chronic illnesses too! They’re the right mix of natural, holistic and medical for us too!
