List of James Allen's Reviews
Dr. Allen is my second hero besides my husband. He is one of the smartest, funniest and kindest doctors I've ever been to. I will probably cry when he retires. Not only does he care about your medical conditions, skin related or not, he genuinely cares about you as a patient and person. I've been seeing him for over 20 years and will continue to do so as long as he's in practice. He has literally saved my life twice with his advice and healed my leg when nobody else could. Thank you♥️
I have gone to Dr. Allen for at least 30 years. He is kind, thoughtful, and the smartest doctor I've ever gone to! On my 1st visit, I had horrible cystic acne on my face, which has was leaving huge pits in my face when it finally left. I had already gone to 3 dermatologists before Dr. Allen and was told I would have to "grow out of them". I was 25 years old at that time, and had been going to doctors incentives I turned 12 years old. But Dr. Allen knew exactly what to do and my face was clear within 2 months and has stayed that way ever since. I took both of my sons to him, along with my Mom and Dad. He fixed the issues with each of them, and is so kind and compassionate. I consider him a friend now. If you have ever an issue, go to Dr. Allen. You will be glad you did!!
Great. I've been seeing Jim for 11 years & am completely satisfied.
i have been going to Dr. Allen for several years. I feel he takes a personal interest in my situation is well qualified to help me take care.
I have been a patient of Dr. Allen's for years. I called today to schedule an appointment, and they said that since I hadn't been in to see him in a while, that I would be considered a new patient, and he is not accepting new patients. Are you kidding me? SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!
Dr.Allen has been my dermatologist for 25+ years..through cystic acne, nerve damage, and skin cancer. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring, informative, and thoughtful. When I had my two kids, and they needed this type of care, I, of course brought them to Dr. Allen, who related with them so well from elementary school through college. The best thing about Dr. Allen is that he has fixed every problem we've walked into his office with...some that didn't even fall under the description of a dermatological problem! I don't have another doctor I can say the same about. As long as Dr. Allen continues to practice, he will be my family's dermatologist. I'm very thankful for him!
The guy likes to just recommend psychiatric medication for anxieties regarding life in general.
I have gone to Dr. James Allen for 15+ years. He is very kind, thoughtful, and even though I've had different skin conditions over the years, he has fixed each one. I also took my 2 teenage sons to him when they had acne, and he fixed them right up, too...plus they liked him as their doctor.he related well to them. I'd recommend him to anyone needing a great dermatologist?
Dr. Allen saved my life when I was being prescribed some medications that I was allergic to by another doctor. He did everything perfectly in terms of his treatment. I know this because my sister who is also a doctor consulted with the leading dermatologist in the US and Dr. Allen was right on target with his treatment. This is a caring and kind man who is willing to go the extra mile. He took my calls directly to him when I was sick, even when he was on vacation. I would trust him with my life and have.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
