From my initial new patient appointment to my last post surgery checkup, I found Dr. Unruh and his staff to be friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and caring. I had a hand surgery that I was not looking forward to, and the service I received from this team has me confident in scheduling the same needed surgery on my other hand with them when I’m ready. I would recommend Dr. Unruh to anyone in the KC area needing a hand specialist.

Ken Unruh is a terrible person. It’s really unfortunate anyone is willing to associate their name with him. I can only assume it will take a massive lawsuit before KC Orthopedic wakes up to this disaster of a human.

Dr. Unruh is a fantastic surgeon who does a great job explaining your condition and, if necessary, the surgical options. I am very satisfied with Dr. Unruh and Kansas City Orthopedic Institute and highly recommend him and KCOI for any patient needing hand, wrist, or elbow surgery.
