I’m in early recovery from torn Achilles’ tendon repair (1 week). All I heard prior is how terrible the surgery is, how painful the surgery is and how terrible the recovery will be. Dr. McCullough, Dr. Stiles and their team of nurses and staff have been absolutely wonderful. Having never had any “real” surgery, it went great. Nothing terrible and really minimal pain. Took pain pills for first 48 hours and then just plain Tylenol has done the trick with consistent foot elevation since surgery. The recovery will be long, but not terrible. Worst part is the inability to drive IF it’s your right foot.Dr. McCullough’s office is busy, because they are good! Everyone there is being seen for important stuff, so expect to wait a little. So far everyone we have dealt with has been kind and caring. Look forward to finishing the process!
Dr. McCullough performed a partial fusion of my right ankle. The procedure and recovery went just as he anticipated. I could not be more pleased. Very skilled and thorough. If you need ankle surgery, seek him out!
I can't give enough praise to this wonderful Doctor I broke my kneecap in October and had to have a full knee replacement in February, but had previously had a meniscus tear and 2 ACL's done on the same knee. He fixed me up and continues to monitor my healing process. He is a caring and compassionate man and the scar from my surgery while noticeable, is not an eyesore. The facility where surgeries are performed is awesome as well. Great nurses, support staff and food! If I ever need an orthopedic surgeon again, I would not go anywhere else!
I previously have had a meniscus tear surgery and 2 ACL surgeries all on my left knee over the last 20 years from 3 different doctors and my knee was still weak but no one would do a replacement because they said I was too young. Then I went to see Dr McCullough and he agreed I needed a full knee replacement but before he could do it, I fell and broke my left knee cap. Dr McCullough did a fabulous job on my replacement after he got my kneecap fixed. The hospital was great too! I've been his patient now for almost 12 months and I would not go to another orthopedic surgeon. He is caring, compassionate and as far as scars go, mine is perfect. I Can't say enough about the man, the facility and their support staff. Absolutely Wonderful!
Went to this doctor once. Wait time to see him was two hours. Not a great bedside manner
Great doc; lousy office management. Routinely long waits—today 1 hr plus.
Dr. Kirk McCullough is a miracle worker! When my daughter injured her ankle in competitive gymnastics, we were certain it was a career-ending injury. Dr. McCullough assured us she could come back and make a full recovery. Our daughter did, indeed, make a fill recovery and is now a collegiate gymnast in the SEC. Thank you, Dr. McCullough!!
Due to an old cheer injury over 5 years ago, I’ve been dealing with shoulder pain and instability. After 2 previous surgeries by other orthopedic surgeons that were unsuccessful, I had pretty much given up hope. In conversation with several people, Dr. McCullough came highly recommend and I scheduled an appt. Dr. McCullough operated on my shoulder just over 5 months ago and I’ve never felt better. Dr. McCullough is honest and compassionate, I would trust him to operate on any of my loved ones. I’m extremely grateful for Dr. McCullough and the outstanding care he provided me.
Great Doctor. Very kind and caring. Wish it was easier and quicker to get in for some things but he is popular. I wouldn’t go elsewhere.
Great surgeon! Very professional and friendly. Highly recommend!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
