If I can give a -5 I would. The experience with the surgeon was absolutely horrible. He say untrue statements. We ended up getting an appointment for another position in a different hospital the next day. And my son had surgery the following day of his appointment and now he’s on his road to recovery. My experience with this doctor was horrible. I don’t believe that he knows anatomy or physiology. The form by it it was in my phones leg wasn’t even close to his nerve. After he told us that my phone will have foot drop by removing the object from his leg . I know that wouldn’t be true because I worked in medicine for over 20 years. I wish the physician would’ve been more truthful if he did not want to do the surgery and we had insurance he should’ve just stated that. Rather than waste our time and try to build our SURx for something he had no true knowledge of a simple procedure.

Had a bad knee replacement surgery by this surgeon. Took me over two years to find a surgeon to repair my knee. Suffered two years of pain swelling. Ordered PT 4 times. No relief. 2nd and 3rd opinions sought. Nerve ablation unsuccessful. Dr Ting basically would not see me and turfed me off to an NP. Luckily I’ve had a revision and on my way to finally being able to walk pain free.

Excellent experience start to finish. Recovery has been great. Daily text messages spot on for recovery. Thanks to the entire team for a smooth and pretty pain-free recovery.

I chose KC Orthopedic Institute after reading reviews and talking to Dr Ting. This is a amazing place and he is a wonderful doctor. He has everything mapped out from a class and physical therapy before surgery to schedules for taking medication and getting up and moving. This helped me and gave me assurance I was in good hands. He has a text message system that begins at the class before surgery and continues for 6 weeks after surgery. Daily messages guide you, give you encouragement, and share additional exercises you can do. A bike for getting started after surgery was another advantage, it helped keep me on track and moving. I highly recommend this practice for total knee replacement surgery. I'll be scheduling the other knee in the near future.

From the first examination to surgery through my recovery, I felt Dr. Ting was there all the way. He sent texts to explain what was going to happen during surgery and in the hospital. He sent messages of encouragement and support and letting me know what I was feeling was normal. I highly recommend him!!

Doctor Ting is not only an excellent surgeon as well as an excellent communicator, sharing details with patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Ting and his team are a well organized, kind and thoughtful group. I love the amount of thought put into all of the planning to make the experience meaningful, comfortable, educational and informative. The class prior to surgery is helpful with expectations and information. The daily texts are encouraging and helpful. Everyone on the team has the patients best interest at heart. My pain was very well controlled, I had almost no bruising. My incision is perfect. Jacob the post recovery nurse was kind and thorough. The hospital nurses did a super job both nights. The inpatient PT had me up walking stairs the first day. Jo, the nurse, is quick to answer questions. Kelsey the NP is thoughtful, intelligent and kind. I felt extremely well taken care of. My progress has been super! I would definately recommend them for ortho care and already have referred a patient to them!

Dr. Nicholas Ting MD, and the staff at KC Ortho Alliance took great care of me, I received a shot of steroids in both knee’s which really helped, although I was very leary about getting steroid shots in my knee’s. Dr. Ting and his team rock 🏽
