After having a hip replacement in 2021 by another medical group, I complained of pain for many months with no relief. After a few xrays, I was told everything looked fine. I do have polio on the same side as the replacement, so they chalked my pain up to polio. I eventually found Dr. Wingerter and as I told him, he is my hero! He did a hip revision and after 5 weeks of healing, I am finally pain free!! The entire process of dealing with KCOI was amazing and I highly reccomend.

Dr. Scott A. Wingerter is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He used the Mako Robotic Assisted-Total Knee Replacement surgery on my right leg. He did a good job and my recovery was quick. I strongly recommend Dr. Scott A. Wingerter to anyone who needs Total Knee Replacement surgery.

Let's see....where do I start...was suppose to have a knee replacement in 2020 with a different facility/doctor..it was delayed because of COVID...saw an ad on TV about robotic assisted TNR...I started searching for a doctor who used this technology and found Dr Wingerter...I was impressed with his reviews & medical history...made an appointment to meet with him....decided at that appt to switch to KCOA and have Dr Wingerter perform my surgery...from start to finish....(1 year post op 9 days ago) I was treated very well by all the staff...office, surgery, after care...was very impressed they have their own hospital with limited patients...everything was explained to me about the procedure...before during and after...it was by far the best scheduled procedure I have ever had performed....HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR WINGERTER & KCOA....

Dr. Wingerter has done 2 surgeries on me, both turned out great. He is direct but very pleasant to deal with. Would recommend him to anyone needing joint surgery!

Dr. Wingerter is a skilled, knowledgeable and personable surgeon. I had a total hip replacement and am extremely pleased with the results! Dr. Wingerter and his staff are 5 stars!

I had tgried for 6 years to have a doctor listen to me about my knee replacement not healing properly and constently hurting and limiting my ability to enjoy life. Dr. Wingerter listened and did a revision on my knee replacment. I am only 3 weeks out and already feeling better. I would reccomend Dr. Wingerter and the KCOI hospital to anyone.
