I had a shattered femur that Dr. Shriwise operated on. Then he had me coming back to him every month for 6 months to see if it was healing. So I went those 6 months with it still broken and in terrible pain. On the 7th month I had a second opinion and that Dr. told me it would have never healed right. So I had a second surgery and that Dr. put a rod through my femur and a bone graft to fix my femur. I lost 2 years of my life do to this. Therefore I would not be able to recommend him to anyone.

This Dr is just a nice guy. I have known him for years. He had worked on my grandson. I consider him easy to talk to and understanding as my age becomes a bigger factor in my overall health.

Dr. Shriwise saw my 15 year daughter who has had shin splints for the past 3 years. His diagnoses was that she was probably low on Vitamin D. It took me asking questions and prompting him to investigate the issues further. With my direction he took x-rays and looked at her feet. He was going to send us home with an order for a blood draw.

The office staff are very friendly. I did not have to wait very long for the doctor to come in and check out my issue. The Doctor was very kind and took the time to explain what was happening with the issue of my knee and the options available to try instead of rushing into surgery. I would Definitely recommend Dr Shriwise to anyone needing to see an orthopedic doctor.

Did not communicate options of care and urgency of options of care for ruptured achilles tendon. Sent me on my way with follow-up visit of two weeks. Finally got him to refer me to another doctor and had an appointment two weeks later and the new doctor recommended I have surgery as soon as possible.

I appreciated his attentiveness when I talked with him. I appreciated his clarity and decisiveness. I appreciated his refusal to use expensive diagnostic tools when the diagnosis was perfectly clear using less expensive technology. I appreciated his efforts to accommodate my scheduling needs and his flexibilty in moving surgery date tonan earlier time.
