List of Encompass Medical Group - Lenexa Office's Reviews
Terribly run practice. Medical assistants often did not return my calls. Dr. Rajkarnikar lacks clinical judgement and is unsafe. they also have shady billing practice.
Never had a problem with staff or doctor. All were polite and professional.
I just would like to let you know how my visit went today when trying to establish care with a PCP at Encompass Medical Group. Let me first tell you that I have been coming there for many years on and off and even worked there front desk many years ago. Lets start with no one wants to go to the Doctor's office at all, kind of like the dentist.I was having a pleasant experience with the Medical Assistant until I saw Dr. Mandira. She was very rude and condescending. She huffed and puffed numerous times during our conversation and even cut me off while I was talking. I asked her if she was OK, and she tells me yes, why. I then inform her because she is rude. She asked me how. I said just listen to yourself. It seemed as if I was a disruption to her day and she merely did not want to be there. There is a pen holder in the room, which she throw (and missed) to the pen holder. During the exam she walks up to me attempts to remove my mask, I move my head back and remove it myself. SHE COULD HAVE ASKED ME TO REMOVE MY MASK. She is aggressive. I was talking to her and she proceeds to walk out of the room shaking her head. I sat there in dismay because she did not let me know anything before leaving the room. I wanted to walk out then, But I waited. The Medical assistant comes back, gives me my orders for the ultra sound that I did not even know was an option same day, (which I would’ve been ok with) and gives me a letter my dogs to be my emotional support animals. I let the Medical assistant know that Dr, Mandira was very rude, she apologizes and lets me know that Dr. Mandira said I was rude. I was floored with that information and just wanted to leave. Not only was she very rude and condescending, she blatantly lied on me. I do not appreciate that. I would like the claim redacted for today and my copay refunded to me so I can establish care with a Doctor elsewhere that takes their Oath for caring for patient seriously. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE SEEING DR. MANDIRA RAJKARNIKAR!!!!
I have been using this office for nearly 30 years. I couldn't be happier. The reception staff is very caring and will jump through hoops to make sure you are cared for. The nurses and doctors are amazing!
Not a good company to do buisness with. Doctors are fine, support staff was very bad.
After Dr. Tamir left my quality of care declined. They wanted to send me to a different physician in the office who I don't like and would not let me select someone else. I now see the NP instead, but she isn't great with communication. My patient portal messages go unanswered and refill requests are not submitted in a timely manner. I am searching for a new office. Office visits are fine, but if you need to communicate between visits, good luck.
Receptionist staff are horribly rude. I pleaded with them to make an appointment physical to refill my birth control and was literally laughed at since they could not re-up my pills as I waited the 2 months to see Dr. Mandy. Nevertheless, I became fed up and got the Mirena IUD partly to stop dealing with the front-counter staff. Dr Mandy did not put me at ease for this operation. They brought in a student to observe my IUD insertion without my consent. I did feel uncomfortable, however, as nervous as I was and how young I was, i did not speak up, nor did I know I could say otherwise. I was not given a choice. My fault. After the procedure, I was told to immediately get up and leave the office...no time to breathe, no observation period to make sure my body didn't reject the device, no questions asking if I feel alright. I did not feel alright. I was left in the room to gather my things and get out as I fought through the nausea and sweating...alone. At the follow-up appointment I asked Dr Mandy several questions regarding my Mirena. She did not answer, but instead handed my a pamphlet to read. Woman to Woman, I was disappointed and hurt. I recently visited a new OBGYN at a different office (Women's Health Group of KC) and was shocked at the comparison of treatment I received between Encompass and here. Encompass has been my provider since I was a kid and I am just now recognizing how horribly I was treated throughout the years thinking that this was just the way doctors offices work. Wrong. Save yourself the trauma and go somewhere else.
After receiving care from several large hospital groups for the past several years, I switched to Dr. Suttmoeller and Encompass Medical Group. I couldn't be more pleased. I have had several appointments, labs drawn within the facility, and interacted with plenty of the office staff; I have no complaints. Everyone has been efficient and friendly! Dr. Suttmoeller has been wonderful! Actually took the time to ask me questions and get to know me. Had an appointment with Nurse Practitioner Anna Cattau and same situation! Would recommend to anyone wanting more personal relationship with their doctors and health professionals.
I've been with Encompass Medical Group for about 3 years now only because my Saint Luke's provider wouldn't prescribe me Adderall. Just to give a little background, I'm a health insurance agent with UnitedHealthcare all over the nation and have spoken with SO many people about this particular medication. I'm a 43 year old wife and mom that's struggled all my life and was labeled "hyper" before there was a name for ADHD even though I was in "gifted" classes. In just the recent year or so, my doctor has rescheduled my appointment around 4 different occasions due to "family and/or medical issues." Then today I saw a Nurse Practitioner for the first time and I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO TERRIBLY BY A PROVIDER IN ALL MY LIFE!!! She treated me like a drug seeker and told me I couldn't keep my Saint Luke's doctor and come to them for this type of medication. She told me I needed to see a Psychiatrist!!! She gave me an ultimatum she wouldn't refill my prescription because I wouldn't get labs done there and didn't even give me a chance to explain that I'd be paying "out-of-network" and question why they couldn't get my recent annual labs from Saint Luke's. All I know is that I'm appalled and mortified ANY professional could treat somebody this way...and I'm in sales!!!
We followed Dr. Suttmoller to Encompass from Menorah, as he had been my husband's doctor after he had bariatric surgery. We really have enjoyed the great medical advice & care we get from Dr. Suttmoller!! He actually saved my husband from having a heart attack by insisting he have a nuclear stress test, after our small town hospital dismissed him. With that said we will NOTbe back to Encompass Medical Group. We have to drive 4.5 hours each way and it is very upsetting when you take 2 days to drive to KC only to get to the appointment in which you received a text confirmation for the day before and they tell you... Oh, sorry didn't someone call you?, He is out of the office. This is the SECOND time this has happened to us within our last 3 appointments. WE'RE DONE!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
