Doug Stigge's Online Review Report Card

I first started seeing Dr. Stigge when he and his father operated a clinic in Aggieville. When I changed jobs and was no longer in Manhattan on a regular basis, I changed doctors. Due to some questionable services I received elsewhere, I looked him back up and started using him as my optometrist again. So happy I did! The personal care and attention to my health is there again! He took the time to learn about changes in my life, worked with insurance to get me the best benefit without sacrificing quality. Support staff at Epic Vision is also superior to most others. They called me with information, instead of waiting for me to call and check-in. Will be recommending them to friends and family!

Dr. Stigge and Dawn are both wonderful. I recently moved to town, and previously had always gone to the same eye doctor in my hometown despite living far away. Dr. Stigge and Dawn are both friendly and welcoming. The office itself is quaint and gives credence to the long tenure of the practice (that means it is retro, in a good way I think). I am sure that they read the reviews because the doctor gave me the option of putting in my own contacts or having him put them in. Some reviewers have commented negatively, but I think for someone who has never tried contacts before that could be helpful for the first time. I am so glad to have found this place!

I like the fact that Dr stigge comes to Waterville. Dawn and Dr stigge are both very personable. I would recommend him to everyone. Evaluates and explains what he is doing. I have a son with aspbergers and he was very impressed with dr stigge.

Did not have Very good experience here. I felt like an outsider when I was there and the doctor actually put my contacts in for me

I went here a few years ago and saw Dr N. E. Stigge. I needed a new prescription for my contacts, and he spent a good deal of time going through different tests, (not just looking through the owl lenses), some of which I had never had done before. The experience was one that left me feeling the exam was very thorough. When he offered to sell me the contacts, I declined thinking I would just order online. He price-matched the online price for me so I could have them that day! He filled out a card with my complete prescription info for me (for glasses and contacts), and had no trouble providing my online supplier my info when I needed them 6 months later for a refill.
