Ahmad Qaddour's Online Review Report Card

I have been a patient of Dr. Qaddour's for several years. He is kind. He explains everything to me in a way that I am able to understand. He doesn't rush during my check-up appointments. He listens to me and addresses any concerns I have.

Dr. Qaddour is very competent, as is his staff. HOWEVER, this practice is so busy, with lots of traveling every week, that they receive my lowest possible recommendation. It can take his staff up to 72 hours to respond to very simple cardiac questions, let alone critical concerns that any patient may have. His staff's emails to him regarding patient concerns, turn into improper and incorrect diagnoses, due to his extremely busy travel schedule. I suffered from fainting, dizziness, and nausea and it was due to dehydration, but Dr. through email determined that my blood pressure medications were too much (incorrectly). Reducing dosages of blood pressure meds only made things worse, as my blood pressure rose. I cannot strongly recommend that you seek another cardiologist. My new cardiologist is answering questions left on voicemail, within the standard expectation of 1/2 day or less.

I am thankful for his knowledge/expertise. Dr. Qaddour takes his time to explain what is going on with your heart. I trust him completely, any concerns and call his nurse. She gets back to me within a timely manner! Office is clean, staff is warm, and welcoming!

Dr Qaddour is an excellent doctor he spends time with patients and explains their medical tests in terms they can understand.

Dr. Qaddour saw me for the first time after my heart specialist retired. I was having some minor chest pains and was concerned. I also was so fatigued that I wanted to find out why I had no energy. Dr. Qaddour noted immediately that I was on too high a dose of one heart medication - causing tiredness and other problems. He reduced that to 3/4 of the dosage, and I am doing much better. Also he ordered a thyroid blood test and sonogram of my heart. I feel very confident in Dr. Qaddour's abilities.

Difficult to speak to anyone - don't answer calls, fail to return phone calls, etc; they fail to submit to insurance for approval in good time and cancel at last minute; he missed a 6"x5" lung mass that is pushing into heart during a routine EKG test that was discovered by another cardiologist (as a 2nd opinion); prescribed a heart medication after there "may" be something strange about the heart (why?); the medication would have caused more harm if patient decided to take them.

Very comprehensive. Does not take shortcuts. Seems to be very good.
